I agree with kloverz, although I would add the vapor flask and hexohm and maybe take off cloupor. When you get a little more knowledgeable rda's are the way to go for sure, clouds bro clouds lol.

I agree. I entered into RDA's yesterday with the purchase of a Magnum Paradigm and the DarkHorse. WOW
Sorry we are getting off the OP's question / digress.
I have to say, with respect, do we need a 150w reg mix mod? For clearos, RTA's/pro tanks, RDA's etc

I guess I'm still confused about subohm and what exactly that means. So I see with the Kanger subtank you need a battery over 30w, correct? I'm only 2 days into this so I'm totally green as far as what everything means.

Subohm is when your coil resistance is 1.0 ohm or lower. There is some debate if the vapor produced by subohm coils could have some health effects, and there are safety considerations for batteries used in mechanical mods when using subohm coils.

The Kanger Subtank coils come in 0.5 ohm and 1.2 ohm. Not all devices will fire a coil below 1.0 ohm. Last year the majority of VV/VW mods wouldn't fire below 1.0ohm, but most of the mods being released this year will fire down to 0.5 ohm and some even down to 0.2 ohm.

The wattage you use is personal preference. Kanger's wattage recommendations are 15-30W for the 0.5 ohm coil and 12-25W for the 1.2 ohm coil, but it's still a matter of preference. I don't like high wattage. I am perfectly happy vaping my 0.5 ohm coil at 13-14 watts.

Online Ohm's law calculators are great for looking at the relationship between coil resistance and wattage. Take a look at this calculator, Ohm's law | Steam Engine | free vaping calculators. Fill in the resistance field with the coil resistance and the power field with the watts set of a mod, and it will show you the voltage applied.

I think the reason I'm afraid of RDA's are because at this current time, this is a stop smoking device for me and not really a hobby. I find myself chain vaping sometimes and with an RDA, it seems like that would be kind of a hassle. I also do not have the knowledge to mess with batteries, coils, wattage, ohms..

Good for you!!! The first step to becoming informed, is understanding that you are uninformed.

Agreed. The buildable deck for the Subtank is an option and doesn't have to be used, but it's there is you ever decide to give it a try. For me, rebuilding isn't a hobby. It's time consuming, tedious, and sometimes frustrating.

I started vaping to quit smoking. The first time around was 3 years ago. I didn't know about ECF and relied on my local vape shop for info. My vaping journey did not last long. It wasn't until 2013 when I started developing the dreaded smoker's cough that I started looking at vaping again. This time I found ECF. I created a user's account some time in Oct 2013. I did a lot of reading and asked even more questions. On Oct 31, 2013 I bought a mod and clearo and quit smoking. I haven't had a cigarette since. I credit all the ECF members with my success.

But, it is cost effective. You can build a years worth of 10c coils for the price of a sub ohm Atlantis atty.
