I think I'm going to go for the xtar. If I dont, I'll wish I did.
I don't see a difference from the vp4 and the vc4, besides price, lol
Vp4...
Car and wall power adapters included
Displays voltage
Charges lithium cells

Vc4...
USB cord included
Displays voltage and capacity
Charges lithium and Nimh

Not much real difference.

I'd prefer the one with actual power adapters unless I needed it for Nimh Rechargables also.

I have the XTAR VP2, I rarely use it two at a time, so a VP1 would have served me well. It has three charge levels, I use 0.25A almost exclusively. Mine is also two years old.

I have lots of batteries in rotation, so I usually charge 2 at a time, in my VP1. I also use the .25 setting. It takes a while, but the slower you charge, the better it is for your batteries.

Or maybe this
iCharger Duo | iCharger 4010 | iCharger 4010Duo

Don't forget a power supply and a cradle for 18650s [emoji14]
If we're going there and you want the best, the only option is the power lab 6 or 8... Daisy chain 'em if'n ya wanna.

But what I have pictured in my tutorial works just fine for me... HP DPS 600PB How To Mod for charging power supply. - Electric Motors, ESCs, batteries, etc. @ URC Forums

:D

ETA; Next best would be Hyperion.

There's also the dual Powerlab 8 :D

I am fine with the Powerlab 6 and a couple of server PSUs myself. Anything that needs more charging power is too scary and too expensive anyway. Too much of a hassle to use for charging vape batteries, tho. Been contemplating setting it up to get some stats on the batteries over time... but I haven't gotten around to it. Doubt I ever will :p

I thought about hooking up the iCharger for some graphing, myself. Less accurate, but would certainly do the trick.

But as I said, I THOUGHT about it.

It's the thought that counts, right? [emoji14]

Currently using a Nitecore Intellicharger i4 for about a year, no complaints. Son and daughter using a Nitecore Intellicharger i2, no complaints.

Had a Pila (my first charger) for over 2 years which I loved depite only having 2 bays. After the two years of solid heavy use, one of the bays stopped charging. Pila hasn't updated this charger in years.

Had a six bay Xtar charger to replace the Pila, which I found out wouldn't charge 18350 batteries without them popping out of the charging bay spontaneously (spring loaded crap). Payed it forward.

Indeed! I've been thinking about it quite a bit myself. Another thing I've been thinking about is the foam-cutter function. Would make for one overcomplicated "workshop" vape.

Funny you should say that.

Vp4 and vp2 are the only chargers we use for 16340s.

My dad actually uses the vp2 for 16340 charging while cruising in a tractor trailer. I can't begin to explain how secure the bays have to hold the cells not to get tossed out on rough roads.

I almost used the foam cutter function in my fish keeping days myself. Still think about it from time to time.
