Ok another n00b question for the expert vapers out there.

I'm looking for a couple good PT's. I want to keep one in my truck plugged into my car charging adapter (my cell adapter has a USB input too). I also want to have one that I keep in my home office for when I'm working. I spoke to someone about it today and he started throwing around electrical terms I still don't know squat about. Ideally if you have one that you are using with a standard laptop computer and/or one in your car can you post details of what you have?

I like the Ego PT and have one in each of my cars, small, simple, and you dont have to keep it pluged in if you dont want to yet you can so it vapes on full max charge if you like. It also depends how your using your liquids which you didnt state below, are you dripping, using carts? personally I would think about something you don't have to fill while driving like a MapTank, maybe the new Ego T even better something like a VV Ali'i or any bottom fed juice box, Ali'i , Reo, wet box, something where you don't have to take out juice and fill and or especially take your eyes off the road to vape, think about one of the mods I mention and get a battery charger that runs off you cig lighter so you always have fresh batts, any option that allows you to drive without the hassles of dripping or filling carts and not having to mess with anything at all and just vape away while driving, my Ego PT is like a back up but I run a vapeMate on it so I dont have to drip while driving, but I use one of my Box mods that I mentioned as well as my VapeMate w/Ego and both are fantastic while driving.!

Thanks for your tip there. I am using a Joye510 and filling carts. I don't fill and drive but do make sure my cart is full before pulling out. If I'm in the car for a while, I have heaps of stop lights I regularly hit that I can fill at. It's really not a big deal for me - just want something to save on my batteries while I'm too'ing and fro'ing around.

You can use your 510 Atty's and carts, The Ego PT is a 510 so pretty much how it works is any 510 Atty will work with this, they are under $30, I would also try and LR510 Atty and a drip tip, carts typically are a pain in the you know what, I can put 8-9 drops through my Drip tip and get not only a better taste but more vapor and an all around better vape and just as much vapor as you will get out of your cart, you may also want to try cartos and LR 510 cartos and Mega cartos, I'm not really a carto guy myself but if your using carts then cartos would probably suit you and especially for driving since you get on average 25-30 drops in a carto, the megas even more, but get an LR510 Atty and a drip tip as well and give that a try

I'd have to try a driptip but from what I know, you have to drip every 2-3 puffs right? Cartos I'm not well versed on so not sure there. Would have to have someone shoot me some info there. I'm happy just getting the PT, atty and some empty carts but want to make sure it's the best thing. I basically don't want to hassle with constant dripping/filling. I've found with the carts I can get about 2 cigs worth of hits which is great for me. Just want easy and a good way to extend the life of the batteries I have.

Hello Frazier - I vote for the Electronic Cigarette - Pass-throughs - Joye eGo - only $20.79 with the 20% discount - all you need in addition is your 510 atomizer and, if you care about aesthetics, an optional cone.

Thanks for the tips guys. I actually picked up to PT's from someone in my old home town that was liquidating her stock due to personal family reasons. I didn't ask which one it was but was a good price so will see when it comes in. I'll need to pick up a few spare attys but found a resource in town that has them in stock. Will let you know how it goes....

This is good news. You helped out a friend and got what you were looking for. It's a win-win.

Happy Vaping,
Paula
