When you say "nothing to do with the other batteries" do you mean it has both types ,a stand alone and the regular battery?

A review says something about never changing battery or something.

Can I disconnect the cable from the pen and smoke ,or is it attached and you can only unplug it from the PC's usb.

sorry for the confusion.

So does the manual switch pen needs it batteries replaced like the regular 801's? A review says something about never changing battery or something.

Can I disconnect the cable from the pen and smoke ,or is it attached and you can only unplug it from the PC's usb.

The manual switch has its own recharable battery that has nothing to do with the other batteries--It charges as it is pluged into the usb and then allows you to vape without being pluged it --good unit--Sun

Janty Penstyle Kissbox

"You can smoke freely and independently using the batteries and toggle between the manual and automatic switches"

1) This is the only pen style currently on the market that allows you to do this?

2) Manual switch on a 801 pen style kits or mods, will only work with a wire, not independant with batteries correct?

Kissbox is pricy but that is pretty handy and seems like it gets around the "very few" drawbacks the 801manual mod has.

3) I'm sure with all those features, you can also use a power pack with kissbox usb pluged in also if you wish?

4) Does the kissbox smoke other brands e-juice well?
That is quite important to me.

5) Does the kissbox have any wicking or drawing liquid from the cart problems or do you have to drip with the kiss box?
6)Is the 801 known for being poor at drawing liquid from the cart?

I'm sorry for 6 kissbox questions in a row :)
Thanks so for the info if you have any answers to these questions from you kissbox or 801 experience.

The Janty Kissbox and DSE801 with manual switch both work the same way, you can use them both with batteries or USB battery. Basically they are the same device with different makers.

The USB cables have an inline battery that breaks the direct current to your face/device for safety. The batteries can be charged and changed or you can charge them by having the USB plugged in.

These are the batteries: DealExtreme: $4.32 Ultra Fire 10440 3.6V 500mAh 2Pack
If you don't want to be constantly plugged in then this charger might be of interest: DealExtreme: $12.58 Ultra Fire 10440 14500 Ac Charger

Either device can be used with any eliquid.

The Kissbox does not work well with cartridges for me, I get very good results from dripping and the manual switch is sealed so there is no problem if you flood. I've not tried the 801 so don't know how well that works with cartridges.

If you're adventurous enough, try the M201. I vouch for it being the best penstyle around. Imagine an M401 with a bigger engine.

Not saying the M201 is not a good penstyle...but its parts are not interchangeable with other pens so you can only buy from that particular supplier (which you may find too limiting in the long run).

Just an FYI.

Do you think that was personal toward you? It wasn't. I know I was turned against the M201 when I found out it wasn't compatible with all my other penstyle parts. I tend to think that's an important aspect to consider when purchasing (any device, not just this one).

Personally, Fedor, I think you should mention this when recommending the product to a newb...or someone who might not know. What if this poster did buy this and in a week, he comes on and is desperate for an atomizer because his died? I just think he should be aware...buying one from a local supplier would not be an option. Maybe you could just add that little tip when you recommend?

And I know if he bought plenty of backups, this would not be an issue. But not all users prefer (or are able) to do business that way.

How was i to think anything else? You seem to have hinted that anyone who buys the M201 might be foolish and you know very well i have one. You might be turned off from buying this model and your reasons might make a lot of sense to you. But at least give me or others a chance at making that decision instead of belittling us.

C'mon Lu, i've always held you in high regard but for you to say this about me is really unexpected. I've always mentioned the fact that the parts are not interchangeable. I just missed this one thread as i was a little busy. The only M201 review in this forum was by me and it clearly states this. My other M201 related posts also states this all the time. It was definitely not my intention to keep this from the thread starter. As for absolutelyecigs being the only place to buy this model, well i cannot be sure. It might seem like the only place but there might be other suppliers that i'm not aware of. Like recently, there was a chart done by a member that listed other M201 sellers too, although i've not heard of them.

Whenever i read a forum thread that i'm interested, i actually scroll to look for your comments cos i know i can count on them to make sense. You should know i mean this cos this is not usually the way i respond when i feel offended. I'm rather dissappointed that you think of me this way.
