best place around hamilton to buy knight rider (lava tube)??

Only place I really know is NicFitNation, which is where I made my first order to start on vaping, just wanted to maybe get one closer to home so hopefully it will be in before friday after work?

Another vote for Canvape, I think I mentioned them to you in your other thread too. They're in Newmarket and have the best prices in Canada on literally everything. You can even pick up your order if you're close enough.

If I were you I would look for the version 1.5 with the higher amp rating. Also get some better batteries. The ones that come with the kits suck

I have heard of some issues with the 1.5....Chelly can probably fill you in on that more than I but personally I would wait for the 2.0 if you are worried about amp limits, if you do not care about amps and dual coil cartos just stick with the 1.0.....that is my

Yes, you can read the end 10 pages or so of the thread Cmac linked to find out abou the issues of the V1.5 but basically CCV has recalled them ALL. The owner of CCV was vaping on his V1.5, put it down on the counter for a moment, and when he came back to it, it was billowing smoke. This is not the first one it has happened to, they're defective. So, I would advise you NOT to buy the V1.5 until you are sure that it is the "new" version of it out at all vendors (hopefully all vendors are going to pull the 1.5 off their sites, but I don't know).

These 1.5s, I have heard, are also NOT made by L-Rider. In case that matters to you.

The 2.0 is coming out soon at most places but as far as my reading has told me, it does not have a higher amp limit and neither did the 1.5. They advertised it as so but many people have done tests only to find that it's amp limit is the exact same as the original LT - 3.2amps.

So, be careful and please do all the required reading if you're going to get a V1.5. I bought one on the Classifieds only to read about this days later. Thank God the person I got it form is an awesome person and helped me out with contacting CCV to get it replaced. So soon I will have a v2. I have not even tried the v1.5, not even put a battery in it. I don't trust it.

Just to clarify, the original Lavatube had an amp rating of 2.5 amps. The new versions that were released a few weeks ago under various names 1.5, v2, v3 were said to be 4 amp limit but in fact testing revealed them to be closer to 3 amps. Some also experienced problems when turning off the unit as it would go into a Low Voltage Mode and still fire if the power button was pressed.
My understanding is that Crystal Clear Vaping will be receiving a V2 chrome model shortly that will be a true 4 amp unit.

If you want a 1.5 or 2.0, it is better to wait. If you want a 1.0, which is rock solid for almost everyone who has one, I agree Canvape is your best bet.

3.2 amps should be more than sufficient. Pushing 4.5V on a 1.5 ohm coil even seems silly to me.

Chelly, does Canvape have a physical store or do they just offer pickup for pre-ordered stuff?

They don't have a physical store, unfortunately. BUT they do have a very excellent booth (from what I have heard) at the 400 Market on the weekends, and you can pick-up orders there as well.
