I too am dedicated to buying my equipment and juice from Canadian suppliers for a number of reasons
-cost. I buy most of my juice from one supplier, in Alberta. His prices are on average near identical to U.S. prices, and my "go-to" juice is not available in the U.S. anyway.
-service. I have ordered juice, equipment, batteries, adaptors, etc. etc. from several different Canadian dealers, all with the same result; I've had the products I've ordered in no more than 72 hours...usually 48 or less. I've ordered the same sorts of things from the U.S. and have never gotten a package of vaping supplies in less than 11 days.
-encouraging Canadian business. If I buy U.S., Canadian companies are going to be less inclined to continue in this business, ro to open new businesses. HC makes this a "risky" venture, and i will do anything I can in terms of support to encourage other small business owners to take the leap and provide fellow Canadians with products.
Last but not least...no potential for Customs issues. I've never had a problem, but that's not to say tomorrow could be the day. I'd rather not have to wait and wonder....

When it's all boiled down, cost of living is higher in canada. Look at our gas prices, books, food, alcohol, cigs, new vehicles, etc etc etc. What makes a difference is research of what and where you buy any given thing.

Personally I have a few sites that I buy from with good pricing on juice and hardware, so I'm happy. I'll just not buy from the others.

Keeping my money in Canada :)

It's 25 bucks for a "bag" of 200 in reserves here in Quebec. People who pay that low of a price are the hardest ones to convert to vaping...

My boyfriend and I switched to smoking "Indian smokes" (as they're called in Nova Scotia) because packs were getting way too expensive and we couldn't afford it with 2 people living off the income for half a person (lol). We were so glad to switch to vaping because of how terrible the Indian smokes are. They made our lungs so nasty and they taste like crap, quality control is crap -- but they're 30 bucks for 200 in NS so it was still nicotine.

It wasn't the price that attracted me to vaping, anyway. We've spent about the same as we would have spent on the Indians but we feel way better, smell way better, and had way more fun. Plus we have a new hobby! :D

I smoked native reserve cigarettes after Players Light Smooth prices went through the roof. I find what you say to be true, vaping and reserve cigs are around the same price so long as you can control yourself. And Yes, that is buying all from within Canada. I have debated the price over and over and won't get into it again... However I will say self-control is the biggest part of saving money in any circumstance.

you mean the good 'ole lung busters =)) smoked those in Ontario, then when i went to Calgary Alberta in 2007, then finally started getting sold in 2009 there. A friend of mine there is who gave them the name...they were a good smoke though :D

I went to the Canvape, i am not sure if the juice part is down or it is my ^$$%##%@@#&%$%(*$$^&# (takes a breath) ^^$$%##&@@&$$(#(@@)$$# Shaw internet blocking me....unless i am wrong (which is happening way to much around here) happy vaper has great deals on hardware (?), but juices (with nic) i feel like i am chasing my own tail trying to decide on which supplier to go to

Canvape doesnt have juice on their site, just hardware. May i recommend Flavor Crafters for juice? I just got some and of all the juices i have tried I am enjoying them the most! Just my opinion though, we all have different tastes. Canvape has the best prices in canada on hardware hands down.

And I found the FC juice to be too weak. I did like the squishy bottles though :D
