So I'm confused:confused:
What part of your response had anything to do with what you quoted me on?

I am a bit curious of a few points you made though..."Meanwhile your beloved watered down juice is mixed in a kitchen, kinda like a methlab. Theres no factories here so where do you think they make it."

E-juice can only be made in a factory??? Just curious!

My Watered Down juice??? It is very apparent that you have not yet experienced some of the Canadian offerings. But please, feel free to make an educated review when & if you ever do!

As for the"kitchen, kinda like a .... lab" I will not comment. I would suggest that you read through the forum rules though. I'm 100% sure there is a taboo about drug talk here.

As for where I think they are made... I don't have to think about where I "think" they are "made" because when I buy from a Canadian vendor that mixes their own juice, I trust that they do just that. Mix their own juice. I don't have to worry that they are adding lead or any other poisonous and or deadly ingredients.

BTY no need to call me Dr. Oz

Just call me MadValleyVapingMama

Excuse me Dr Oz

If or when Health Canada approves the import of Chinese juice to Canada, all the canadian vendors will probably be selling it because they know that its the same thing.

Dont be so self righteous cause you think Canadian E liquid is somehow safer. Have you seen the DeKang factory in China? You tube it! Meanwhile your beloved watered down juice is mixed in a kitchen, kinda like a methlab. Theres no factories here so where do you think they make it.

Anyways to each their own right.

The biggest oxymoron that I've heard in weeks - China & Quality Control. Do you honestly buy in to Dekang because they say & show some random pictures of labs & workers with lab coats that make $3/hr as quality made e-juice? Maybe we should send Marketplace down to China & visit the labs - like they did with ColdFX. See how that went!

I'll stick to my Canadian juice masters & don't need to see pictures of their kitchens - They're Canadians & I trust them.

Totally agree. The Dekang videos seem to be set up. I get the impression that as soon as the video stops the workers take their lab coats off and walk across the street to the real factory.

It's 'MY' understanding that pure nicotine is only manufactured and procured from China & India, and I've never been able to confirm otherwise.

I would believe this. I can't see the makers of Nicorette buying from a little factory in Tilsonburg.

I would also assume most flavour extracting for the food industry also happens in China.

I got 633 ml of 6 different flavors from M.... .... ....s and paid 2.5cents more/ml Two days to get here.

eGo Riva 1100mAh Black w/gold band or Stainless, you might want to check this out at ....... Everything I've ordered from them has got here next day.

ORIGINAL DK-Tab 70PG/30VG
ORIGINAL DK-RY4 70PG/30VG Yet another great deal from a Canadian vendor, ........ co This Canuck is a juice genius

I support my Canadians Vendors for a # of reasons.
They have the balls & ovaries to stand up for the cause of Vaping in Canada.
They offer us what we want & need.
They care about customer service.
They are willing to step up & take a risk for what they/we believe it.
They are leaders in promoting a healthier alternative for Canadian nicotine addicts.
They are true entrepreneurs.

I'm a bit funny & set in some of my ways, for a very open minded (Baby boomerish) Canadian. Opinionated too when the need arises.

Have you ever been laid off, because your employer could get cheaper labor somewhere else? Has that happened to anyone you know? And how did that sit with you? IMO it sucks.

Are you willing to go be a citizen of these other countries, where you can buy things cheaper than you can at home? Yup, that means working for the same wages too.

Maybe I'm a hardcore beatch.... but I'm helping my own first! And I'm proud to say that.

PS... If ya want a list of Canadian Vendors I'm sure you can ask any Canadian ECF member. We'd all be Proud to help ya out. We're funny that way.

Just my :2c: and have a good day, eh

A lot of how I feel. I like to give my money to Canadians first. I live in a border town and could be tripping across the border when I want to but I don't. Watched too many jobs trip over there over the years.

As for later threads refering to where the juices are made. I think Bigger isn't always better. I go out of my way to buy things NOT made in big factories. Never been disappointed when I did either.

I shop cheaper in Canada than I did when I first started vaping and ordered absolutely everything from the US. I pay about the same for shipping but it gets here way faster. But the actual hardware and such, I save quite a bit shopping in Canada at Canvape. I honestly haven't found another site in the US or Canada that has almost everything that I want in one place and at these prices. So I don't understand how people save money shopping in the US

if anyone can pm me a step by step guide with their suppliers on how to DIY a nice vanillaee, caramel creamy RY4 (Preferably like Ian's Aaargh Why 4?), with nic, I would be extremely grateful!....I only ever want to vape RY4 (Not chinese Ry4)...and I do think it makes up a ton of my monthly cost...If I could vape that flavour forever, I would be happy!

canvape is the closest thing I've found to a 1 stop shop...if they started selling carto tanks other then the smoktech, I would be such a happy camper. Until then, the only thing I'm willing to buy in the U.S is j-tanks...

Also if they sold sticker-less boge cartos, I'd be happy, but for the price, I'll still buy them and take off the sticker myself:)

That sounds good, I wouldn't mind the recipe too

I can afford to buy from local CAN vendors, so I do.

I can say that if we were struggling financially I would probably start sourcing the lowest prices I could and hope that the CAN vendors dropped theirs ^^

I can also afford it, however I choose to give my $$ to CanVape. Most other vendors are ridiculous and must be loosing out on some serious cash. I can't count the number of people I have recommended Canvape. I tell people not to touch other vendors until they drop their prices. I even deal with UK vendors that are far less expensive than 98% of Canadian vendors and sell better quality hardware. I prefer to give my money to Canadian vendors, but I'm also not a ...... Why would I pay 30 - 50 % more $$ just to support Canadian vendors?? ...... makes no sense. Drop yer prices or CanVape gets 100% of my Canadian funds :) .......and occasionally my UK friends ;)

Take the health concerns out of the equation, and just look at the economics of the habit you just broke.

This argument, that you “can’t afford” is inconsequential even if you buy hardware & juice exclusively from Canadian Vendors.

…And you know why (see below):

Average price of 200 cigarettes in Canada's province and territories, as of January 4, 2012**

Northwest Territories ($108.61)
Nova Scotia ($102.67)
Manitoba ($102.19)
PEI ($101.89)
Saskatchewan ($97.06)
British Columbia ($93.23)
Nunavut ($92.65)
Yukon ($92.65)
New Brunswick ($90.67)
Newfoundland ($90.67)
Alberta ($90.55)
Ontario ($80.16)
Quebec ($71.44)

See!! VapoX knows exactly what i meant. CanVape is one of the only Canadian vendors that has realistic prices. Most vendors are exploiting our fears of our orders being confiscated by HC or customs. Shame, shame.

The problem is, it isn't a fear, it's a reality. Shipments do get siezed at the border, and that often ends up costing vendors money, so vendors have a choice of either swallowing the loss or building it into the price of products to protect against future seizures -- which are bound to happen. I'm not saying that nothing is overpriced when you take this into account -- there are plenty of products that are well overpriced even so -- but I'm also not saying that it's completely unreasonable for Canadian prices to be a little higher on the whole. You also have to factor importation costs as well, as it costs more to import product into Canada than it does to the US, so that's another factor.

There are overpriced products. However, it's also unfair to jump on Canadian vendors who are more expensive than US vendors. They're more expensive because there are more expenses. Maybe in many cases the increase in price is not in line with the increase in expense, but that doesn't mean it isn't a factor.

Interesting considering your other posts...

"My $200 dollar Kit and e juice order was rejected by customs and sent back to Health Cabin in China. No response from HC after a week. did I just loose $200 bucks?? Does this happen often and if so do we get a refund? Im really frustrated right now and would like some answers. Thanks"

I believe you will get your money back or they will ship again. Remember ship juice separately. It adds to the cost but you don't have this kind of frustration. Sorry HC nabbed your parcel. I know the feeling all too well.

Part of the reason many of the Canadian Vendors that have been in business for awhile may have higher prices. It is all part of doing business in Canada right now. At first it seems like a ton of money but once all the expenses come into play, (Marketing, printing, packaging, refunds, phones, HC siezures/returns, etc...) it slowly adds up, and the profit margin is much less. I think everyone can say at one time or another they got a few freebees from our Canadian vendors as well. I have found there are two kinds of vendors, the ones that take the time to explain things and have a passion for it, and the others that just want the fast buck. I believe most of our Canadian vendors, we have here that have been around for awhile are all to be patted on the back! They have stuck through a wave of letters, hassles from CBSA and HC. I remember ordering an eGo from a well noted vendor in the States about a year ago now and the prices then weren't what they are now. Things have changed in the States and as they change here, hopefully in the near future, things should start to level out.

My hat is off to the Good ol' boys/girls doing their part! Thank you for sticking it out! :)
