Anybody out there in ECF land building their own mods I could use your help. I wanted to make my own unregulated parallel box mod so I got a kit from Motley Mods and it was like $50. After I got it I was thinking that I could probably get stuff cheaper by buying it separately. Anybody have any good websites that I can find parts for mod building from enclosures to to buttons and all the internals? Next I want to build a series mech mod so if anyone could help it would be appreciated.

P.S.: If anybody has any suggestions to give a newbie mod building that would also be appreciated like things that you have done and found to be an easier way of doing something please share.

Fast tech is from China right?

I haven't heard of a 510 tool. I'll have to look that up. I have a good soldering iron.

Yep. Fasttech is in China.
They are an awesome resource.
Excellent customer service.
I've spent thousands with them over the years.
You just need to research the item before you buy. Read the reviews AND discussions on the item page.

Flip a few extra bucks for the Alpine tech enclosures. Will save much time in grinding/ sanding.
The Hammonds lean like Pisa.

Make the parallel first, more forgiving..

I've made the parallel already. I got a blue Hammond kit and figured out about the leaning. I have to find a coil that hit like I like my vape. Right now on my RX300 I have a IJoy combo with a .22 staple coil vaping it at 175. The other day (before I got the IJoy) I was using the 300 with a 27mm Mason with a .15 alien coil vaping it at 220. I like a hot dense vape.

I will look into the enclosures from Alpine. I am a wood worker so I have sanders (belt, disk and DA sanders) so that won't take me long to get the box square. Props to having 30 grit all the way up to 600 grit sandpaper lol. My next mod I may just get an unfinished Hammond and square it up then get it sanded down to a satin finish and build it. Thought about hydro dipping it too. I've done that for my European skull mounts for the deer I've taken over the years.

Thanks for the info!

You have far more metal skills than i assumed!
Definitely stay with the Hammonds, the five packs.
With a Series, unregulated mods, i build Large 1.3 ohms coils on a Dripper.
Good luck!.

I looked up alpine tech and their site is down. I have the page open so I will check in from time to time to see if they have it open. I will see about that 5 pk cause I see me doing a few of these in different configurations. Dual 18650's, triple 18650's and dual 26650's). I think once some friends at work see them I may have some orders coming in. That's how it is with my juice anyways. Spreads like wild fire with people trying juices then asking where they got it.

I bought all my enclosures on ebay last summer. I don't think I've ever been to the manufacturers website.
I would like to tell you the venders names, but they are gone, ebay venders are so disposable..

Yeah I know what you mean. Where would I find a 5 pack? eBay? I put in on google but nothing with the 5 pack for the Hammond 1590B enclosures.
