Looking for a good deal from a reputable vendor on the KR808D1 starter kit,no bells or whistles just the batteries and chargers a maybe a few cartomizers.Someone with good shipping and customer service
also good quality non-knock off merchandise.

And anyone ever try any unflavored juices? are those any good? do they taste like water? or just plain old steam.thank you all for your great support these last few days.Looking to place my first order on monday! for my mom

Hi Starz

There are several vendors that supply KR808D-1 kits. I don't know all the sales going on and I personally have dealt with Vapor4Life. I'm not affiliated with any of the vendors here on ECF, but ALL of them that I have dealt with so far have been very nice.

From the info on your mom before, here's the link I would suggest:

Vapor4Life- Electronic Cigarette: Vapor King Ultimate XL Starter Kit

And here's why:

1. These have the general look and feel of a cigarette (called "analogs" here).
1. Choose manual batteries... they take a very short time to get used to, but prevent liquid/battery issues.
2. The longer batteries have a longer life. (One is charging while using the other).
3. This has a "pass through" that can plug into a computer USB outlet and vape away without worrying about a battery. (Although I would strongly suggest a wall adapter, purchased separately, for the pass through) - great for long term TV watchers.
4. It comes with 5 cartomizers. Cartomizers (referred lovingly here as "cartos") are simple. You can buy them pre-filled to begin with (about $2.00 each) and they just screw on, screw off. Also, they can be cleaned so down the line, when and if she chooses to just buy the juice, she can refill even more economically.

Also, Vapor4Life (often called "V4L" here) has a coupon code of "smilin" for ECF folks (you count!). That will give you another 10% off.

I would also buy an additional 5 cartomizers at least. Taste is VERY subjective, but I have had 2 "converts" (personal friends that have quit smoking entirely) when I've let them taste "espresso 18 mg".

Hope that helps!

The only unflavored juice I've ever tried is 100% PG I vaped to try to get rid of one flavor that was on my atomizer. it wok, not very satisfying (no aroma)

KR808D-1 -

Vapor4Life is a good rebrander - offers nice colors, and has lots of prefilled cartomizer and blank cartos (I like their Coolcarts because their other kind are too hot on my lips, but some people prefer the hotter ones). That's where I got my KR808D-1 (their Vapor King is definitely KR808D-1 and it's a popular place to buy them)

AzSmokeFree seems to sell KR808D-1 kits and filled cartos (make sure you look at the KR808D-1 ones, not KR808D-2 which are different)
The Better Way To Smoke - KR808D-1 Kits

Then there are other places where you can get a simple kit but they probbaly don't sell prefilled cartomizers

Welcome to ECF, Starz!

DiggerP is right on with the advice.

Regarding unflavored juice, it's used to make your own juices with DIY flavorings. There's a DIY section in the forum with recipies for all kinds of flavor if you don't find any premade you like. And it does have a slight flavor, kinda peppery from the nicotine, but hardly noticable.

I bought my kr8 from v2cigs.com, but they take forever to ship anything. Almost immediately after I got my v2, I found V4L and ordered more cartos and juice. They shipped so much faster, and even tossed in a couple of extra flavored cartos as a bonus (got waffle and butterscotch in addition to my 555 order). I definitely recommend V4L. Once my last v2 order finally goes through (nearly a week and it's still "awaiting fulfillment", while one V4L order has already arrived and the second just got a tracking #) I'm done with them.

I've also got a PigCig on order, and am looking at all of the various different juice vendors to see what I like, PG vs. VG vs. PG/VG mix, nic levels, etc.

After reading some reviews, I decided to order the maxxfusion from bloogplanet, which is kr8 based.

I'll second that too - my first KR808 kit was from MyVaporStore and sometimes, specially the premium softcap cartos, from LiteCigUSA -- I highly recommend either of these two vendors and will say that the product I originally purchased some 3 months ago is still in service and working very nicely. BUT: My wife wouldn't quit analogs until after I introduced her to Bloog MaxX Fusion. Now, she's >almost< there; down to 1 or 2 analogs a day -- being a smoker for, what, 30 years(? -- she started before I did) -- needed a near perfect analog experience.

I think I am going with the KR808 kit from LitecigUSA.Its $29.95 and extra manual batteries are $13.They have a decent selection of 10 ml juices,I want to get a few Gold and Silver flavor,(kinda like her Marlboro lights) and a coffee flavor, and maybe two fruit flavors to see what she likes.Just wondering if the Cartos i want to get her are refillable or must be thrown out after one use.

KR808d-1 PREMIUM Blank Cartomizers

thank you all! :)
