Hi everybody! I just recently began researching these awesome products, and after lots of shopping and reading, I'm about 90% sure that I want my first PV to be based around the KR808D1 battery. Please correct me if I'm wrong; it's the exact same battery sold by Bloog and CigEasy, as well as a few other places, meaning I could purchase the starter kit from whichever company sells KR808D1's cheapest, then buy the cheapest compatible cartomizers from a different company if necessary. (Right?)
Okay, here's where it starts getting complicated. I really want to buy my cartomizers domestically. batteries/Charger/Kit can come from wherever, but for the recurring purchase of cartomizers, I want a USA company. I don't like the idea of paying oversea shipping costs every time I need some.
CigEasy doesn't have a phone number, and they don't seem to disclose their brick-and-mortar location anywhere on their website. They have the cheapest KR808D1-compatible cartomizers I've found, but I already don't like their business practices for these reasons. (If anyone knows if they're USA-based, please let me know.)
Okay, so, the biggest question I have for you guys is, where is the best place to buy KR808D1-compatible cartomizers shipped from the USA? The most important factor to me for these is PRICE including tax/shipping. I might eventually want to buy liquid and refill cartomizers, but to this newbie, that sounds like too much trouble, and makes me shy away from the whole concept. Instead I want the absolute cheapest KR808D1 cartomizers shipped from the USA. Can anyone help me out with this?
Also, one more question! I smoke Marlboro Reds and similar full-flavor, non-perforated-filter, king-size cigs. I smoke between 15 and 20 a day. The KR808D1 cartomizers are advertised as being equal to 20 cigs. If this were true, it would cut the cost of my habbit in half! However, everything I've read/heard seems to indicate that people get HALF as much use from a cartridge/cartomizer than advertised. If THAT is true, then the cost of my habit would be greater than or equal to what it is now! I understand the concept of your-mileage-may-vary, but could any readers share their experience on this topic, especially those who have/had similar smoking habits??
My thanks to all those who take the time to share their thoughts and experience on any of these questions! Thank you for your time!!!!!
