I don't know if it's the "best" place but I've ordered #500 mesh, kanthal and silica wick from OKCVapes.com. I've heard mention of StormysVaporCellar.com for rba supplies, but I haven't used them myself. I have them bookmarked for future purchases. I'm pretty well stocked up at the moment - and my kanthal "ribbon" should be here from Germany any day now.
I suggest okcvapes since they actually have stock. I would suggest SteamMonkey but they are currently out of stock. They said they would have stock in a day or two, and they are a few dollars cheaper shipped for the same amount.
I've also tried a few dealers from eBay and quality has been sub par.

I'll second these guys. I got mine within a week and they even threw in a couple of extra sheets of a different size mesh.
Steam Monkey is good to try out different wires since they only sell 3ft for $1. Once you've found a gauge that you like, you can get 100ft spools off of ebay for ~$9 shipped.
i boutht 150' of 28 & 30, in a co-op.... i wouldnt even know where to get any of i ran out... lol

hah, just received my wire from TEMCo today. Bought a 100' spool of 32 and 30. The good thing is that they're a 15min drive from my house and they do have will call so I can just go there and pick some up whenever I need something in a hurry. The only thing keeping me from doing that is because they have free shipping on a lot of their stuff and for the stuff that isn't free isn't worth the gas vs. the just getting it delivered 2 days later.

OKC is also what I would suggest if you want somewhere quick and easy that you can go to right this second and place an order. Really, $15 is NOT that bad for a 12"x12" sheet of 500 mesh! Especially since it's in stock and you can very easily get it. It will last a loooooooong time.
