Okay, I have a question for some of y'all. I am a novice still, but working on remedying this lol. I just purchased two panasonic 18650ch high discharge batteries because I want to step up from my Ego-T and Mini-Nova piece meal. Would the Innokin Itaste telescopic be my most logical choice in a next step? Also I have UltraFire BRC 18650s I used for flash lights. Can I use these for vaping or are they not AW? Can I use their chargers for my Panasonics coming soon?

The Ultrafires will not be suitable for any variable voltage mod. You need high drain batteries (usually, IMR, though Panazonic may have a different high drain chemistry). AW, Efest, Panasonic, Samsung, and I believe Sony make good batteries.

I ordered my iTaste from Tropicalvapors.com a couple days ago. $89.99 with the 2 telescopic sleeves, 2 iClear 30s, free shipping. It's a company in Ohio. Also got the Xtar WP2 II Smart Li-ion Charger from them and 2 Panasonic CGR18650CE Lithium Ion battery - 2250 mAh - Flat Top

Are the batteries good? Anyone have any experience with them?

Everything comes in one shipment except the Protank 2 which I couldn't find on any domestic site that also had the iTaste SVD so I couldn't get it all from one place.

By the way, the larger tube......why? for what reason ? who would want to stack 18350's when you have all three sizes.

Again... this was my path and it worked well for me. Good luck in your buying. !!

I got my svd from fasttech for 37 bucks and am loving it. The only thing is, I wish I had gotten the kit simply for the longer tube and I'm having a heck of a time finding one anywhere. I can't be sure without having one, but I'm pretty sure I wish I had the longer tube for the extra grip and comfort. I'm only using 18650 batts anyway. Do you have the longer tube? Would you be willing to give it up?

One benefit of vaping at higher voltages (with correspondingly higher Ohms) is battery life, both between charges and overall. Here are a couple of examples using Ohm's Law:

A 1.2Ω coil at 10Watts will require about 3.5V and consume about 2.88 Amps
A 2Ω coil at 10Watts will require about 4.5V and consume about 2.24 Amps
A 2.5Ω coil at 10Watts will require about 5V but only consume about 2 Amps

As you can see, for a given Wattage, the higher Ohm coils consume fewer Amps, and since Amps are what your battery runs on, the higher the Ohms, the lower the Amps, the less stress on the battery, and thus, longer battery life. :)

OMG, I feel like an idiot, here I've been making lower resistance coils (went from around 2.0 down to 1.2) using the same watts, thinking I would extend my battery life...
