Ok. So currently I have:

UTURN 1300 with Iclear 16
AND
Itaste EP w I clear 10

The U turn is good enough but too long to be truly portable. Doesn't fit well into pockets etc.

The Itaste EP is truly portable but is a weak vape in my opinion.

So does anyone know of a vaporizer that is both portable and a nice vaporizer...or does this perfect combo just not exist?

You could look at the MVP. It isn't nearly as small, but the box shape does fit well int he pocket.
You could look at the iTaste VTR as well. But be warned, it is HEAVY. It is nice and compact if you have a tank that fits inside the protective ring.

If you just want something super small, you are going to sacrifice vape quality. The batteries are just too small to deliver the power and duration between charging.

1.Everyone likes the Eroll. It is a cig alike. I don't care for it the carts are too small, so short that the whole thing gets heated up in two puffs and about burns your fingers, have to hold it awkwardly because the air hole is so far down on the battery area.
2. I do like the shorty ego batteries though. They are so short that you can put the tank on and it is as long as a full size 900 mah ego battery alone. But that shortness you trade off for battery life.
3. The unit I like the best is a folding epipe, cheap and can use an 18350 and a protank mini. Only as tall as the protank but very heavy. Gets good battery life.
4. Next if you want a pricey unit the microstick is similar in shape to the epipe folded but weighs much less. Still has good battery life and can use a descent sized tank also. But the tank or atomizer has to be within the 16mm diameter or less to fit in the recessed atty hole.
THose are all the choices I have made for portability. I have not bought the microstick because of price. I bought the folding epipe instead and have been happy with that.

If you like the iTaste EP, give the iTaste VV V3 a try. It has a pretty decent VV/VW power output, yet is only a little bigger than the EP. My go-to device with an EVOD when I just want something small for a quick trip.

Another suggestion would be to try some lower resistance cartomizers or clearomizers with your EP to get a little more mileage out of it. They ship with 2.4ohm clearos, which is a recipe for lackluster performance with a regulated 3.4v battery. The EP isn't too bad with a 1.7ohm clearo.

Hi Jibberjazz. What's your budget?

Outside of the Ego style batteries, there's always the option of buying something like a Zmax mini, or one of the other tube mods in 18350 mode, but they're definitely a bit thicker than the Uturn and the EP.

You might also want to consider a Reo mini. Flavor as good as dripping, compact and pocket friendly. Not as cheap as some of the options listed but it's my main vape right now and I take it everywhere. Uses an 18490 battery which lasts me all day, as does the 3ml bottle of juice inside.

The Reo in my avatar is a Grand. The Mini is smaller....

Of course, all this is assuming you're familiar with mech mods and their related safety issues, or are willing to learn :)

This! My out-and-about and at-work setup is an iTaste VV with an evod, carto tank, or T3 on top. Small, light, works great.

Define what you consider "portable".

If what you are looking for is something pocket-friendly, the Mini ZMax and Mini Provari are canidates to also consider.

The Smoktech Gripper ($10 at Mad Vapes) is a mechanical mod with an extremely small profile.

Not if you're using mech mods.

Nemesis with Kayfun Nano in 18350 mode is TINY. Swap out the Kayfun with a Trident RDA and you can subohm with it, which is something you cannot do with the MVP.

Tried to check out the mini but the website didn't work.

I just went there a bit ago also, wanted to check out some stuff. Yep, site is down but that is not common. Hopefully it's up soon....

One of the many good things I can say about the Reo is the customer support. They're made by a guy named Rob up in Maine. If you have a problem you can just give him a call. He'll take care of you. The Reos are machined out of a solid block of aluminum. True mechanical. (The gripper above is nice, but has wires. I own one, actually two. Still prefer the mini.) His prices on accessories are very, very reasonable. Can't recommend Reos enough :)

The reo site is working, just don't use the top navigation. I would like those, but they are a bit expensive for my taste.

I use a Ego C twist + mini protank or a Caravella + aqua (all clones) for my outings. both have zero leaking issues and can be pocketed. The caravela can be put into 18350 mode, but I still prefer an 18650 for the battery life.

Are you implying that a device is not a mechanical mod if it uses wires to pass the current rather than the body of the mod?

Because I can assure you that's still a mechanical connection. It still works exactly the same way, the ONLY difference is the shape of the conductor. Using wires rather than the body does NOT mean the device is no longer mechanical. As long as there are no added electronics then it's a mechanical device.

And I would even debate that adding electronics means a device is no longer mechanical. After all, before safe chemistry IMR batteries we were all using Protected Li-ion batteries which include a little electronics package that monitors and regulates the battery. That didn't make them non-mechanicals.

Personally, I've been kicking around the idea of making a pure carbon fiber mod with a hollow tube to run a 14 gauge silver wire through. (the wire could handle a continuous 30A drain until the battery was dead without heating up) Connect the silver wire to a solid silver contact pin, use a solid silver contact pin on top, and make the 510 connector either silver plated copper or solid silver and you would have the lowest resistance, hardest hitting mech mod on the market. And it would be the lightest and one of the strongest as well.
