Where have you found your best price for battery purchases??

not sure what kind of batteries you want, but I just wanted to say that batteries and chargers are one area you don't want to go cheap over quality on

I never go bargain hunting for batteries. There are just to many counterfeit & fakes out there. Buy only from trusted sources.

It would sure help if we knew what type of battery you were looking for. Looking for ego types and IMR High drain batteries are completely different ball parks.

I'll give you an example of how false the economy of cheaper batteries is. The difference in price between an Efest IMR 18650 (which is a pretty fair battery) and an AW IMR 18650 works out to about 0.005 cents/day over the life of the battery. So there really isn't any meaningful savings between a 9$ battery over a 12$ battery.

I'm old school on this, and still buy mine from Super T Manufacturing for the simple reason that I know and trust them.

RTD Vapor sells AW batteries that I always use. Tried a cheaper Eco-Friendly battery, didn't last a month. Now I stay with AW from RTD.

Another tried and true battery vendor is lighthound.com. They always have good batteries and they are always in stock. Great vendor.

In this sense, Amazon is the same as Ebay. They're only selling for other companies, granted they work differently but the basics are the same. I understood what douglasp was saying and I hope everyone else does too.
