I find if you keep the added VG down to under 20% your ok (that being said if the base juice your using is flavorable in the fist place, lol).
It doesn't really take adding that much VG to aid in vapor production. Experiment adding very small (few drops) and see if your satisfied with the vapor.
I've turned to using DIY flavors because "I" like huge plumes of exhaled vapor and use 50% VG. I also find that my best juices produced always seem to come from DIY'ing where I didnt' keep a record of my mixing --DOH-- by adding a lil of this, and a lil of that.
I've always needed to add in VG with PG based juices, as I like to "exhale" vapor after a deep held inhale. But, the longer you hold your inhale in your lungs, the thinner the exhaled vapor is going to be... its the nature of the beast !
