Best purchase 510 or EVOlution?

Hi people,

I only have one shot at buying my first e cigarette because my boyfriend is going to purchase them for us and he told me to do my research and pick the best one. It will have to last me a long time. I am also referring two other people who will most likely be able to only purchase one for the time being. So i want to direct them to the best product.

I am currently looking at the either the 510 or the EVOlution from InnoVapor. The couples pack looks like the best value for either of these. Give me your reviews or let me know or me know if it has it's own thread. I want to make sure i'm getting recommendations from consumers only not those affiliated with the company.

I'm looking for the all of the obvious qualities,
best throat hit
most vapor
light weight
small
sturdy
etc....

I also want to be able to use different liquids such as Totally Wicked and the Innovapor video said it is not a good idea to use anything other than the EcoLiquid with either of these units. What do you think?

Let me know if you have been using either of these for a long time and have been pleased or if you know which one is better.

You guys are great!
Sarah

I've got th 510, manual battery. I got their black starter kit--it had two atomizers and two batteries...and therefore two complete e-cigs. It was under sixty dollars including shipping and handling.

I'm not familar with that EVO model...but I can tell you the 510 can do it all.

But what ever you do, get one with the manual battery...it is a lot less work getting a cloud of vapor out of it.

I've had my first 510 for only three weeks. I've had no problems with it, so there are others who can answer 'how long do the batteries last' better than I. I've heard it was a crap shoot for both the batteries and the atomizers...any where from 'dead on arrival' to six months.

Apparently they do burn out sooner or later.

As a 'techno' I'm really not sure why but right off hand I'd say the atomizer is gaining more and more resistance from use until finally it burns out.

Your mom said not to say...
I have a Dragon m401 and a 510 and they are both fine products that you can't go wrong with either way. The EVO is a m401 for all intents and purposes of this discussion same as the Dragon.

I was a heavy smoker for 32 years and I stopped the minute my Dragon arrived. I received it on 9/11/09 and I have not had a single tobacco cigarette since. I like them both though for different reasons.

The m401 style is perfect for dipping which is what I imagine you and your friends are going to do considering it is the cheapest option compared to buying your cartridges. You can also fill your own with the 510 and you can drip onto the atomizer but I prefer dipping to dripping because it's cleaner and easier for me. They both give good vapors and throat hit with the 510 producing a little more. The batteries are where the big difference for me comes in, the m401 batt's are automatic and they hold their charge longer. By automatic I mean that when you suck on the E-Cig vapor happens. The 510 is a manual battery and it doesn't last near as long between charges which is why I prefer my Dragon. Many people do prefer the manual batteries though because they are less susceptible to damage from dripping liquid in them because they are sealed.

Price is about equal both in initial cost and cost of ownership over time. I believe that the atomizers for the 510 are a little more expensive on average than the m401 but not enough to make a huge difference. Atomizers are consumables so you need to take replacement cost into consideration when comparing cost. Batt's are about the same.

If you do prefer to carry carts to dripping or dipping then the other big advantage the 510 has is that the carts for those are the bigger by far than the tiny juice holders in the m401 model. Either way you are going to be happy with either model talked about if your looking for help in stopping smoking or in switching over from tobacco. Good luck and I hope you find this helpful.

You know, if he really loved you he'd buy you both. = )

Yes, i'll tell him that and a new car. He He He. No, he loves me because i'm NOT a gold digger. Although always happy to accept his lavishings.

So i think i'll have him lavish me with a 510.

Excuse my ignorance but what is dripping vs dipping. I can assume i know what is is but why do that when you can tell me. :)
