Best PV for a Theatrical Production?

The auto volts are good choices. So are other 808 style e-cigs. although the volts have sealed batteries even for the autos. Less prone to failure. And you can get shorty cartos too, in white or orange. And fill them yourselves with 0 nic high VG juice (but I'd have some PG and maybe some flavor...like mint or the vanilla you mentioned).

It's a local theatrical production.. you don't want to spend big bucks on something that is going to not be used afterward.

you want something that looks like a cigarette for the artistry, not for the political statement.

Or you could approach Blu or one of the others and get them to sponsor and exchange what you need for a spot in the program.

Thanks for all the input, folks. I'm looking over all the replies, and there have been a great deal of good suggestions. I forwarded them on to my props person, and she'll be taking care of the rest. I wish it was as easy as buying NJoy's, as their plentiful here in town, but for Non-Smokers, I'd rather not get them addicted to cigarettes.

There's some nasty stories that are bandied about actors who want parts so bad, and are forced to smoke in the role, and end up getting addicted. I don't want to do that to any of my castmates. So one's that give the option for 0 mg Nicotine, or blank reservoirs, are most ideal.

Appreciate the output you guys generated on this. You guys are tops!

how about a few disposable Njoys for each actor? they're about 8 bucks each. no chargers needed. no filling of cartos. if one dies, just grab another.

not sure how much each character is smoking thru the play, or how long you're running. unless the character is a chain smoker, i'm sure each one should make it thru a couple nights performances, i'd think.

+1 to this - will look like real stinkies.

Then get a cig-a-like that is white, buy some 510 cartos and fill them with 0 nic juice for the non-smokers. To the best of my knowledge the Fin cig-a-likes have a 510 thread, there may be others. (Blu for one, but I think all their batteries are black, although I suppose you could spray paint them white.)

The white cloud fling mini disposables are supposed to be about the same size as regular cigarette. They are flavored, but at least they do have nicotine free ones. You could find a way to color the endcaps orange.

Am I the only one that considers the name "Fling" for a disposable e-cigarette to be in poor taste?

I'm gonna second the flings. Not my favorite ecig. But they worked for my wife because they are very similar to a real cigarette. As far as I know they all have red/orange cap and come in 0 nic. We ordered a bunch before converting to 808 and still have a bunch lying around as they never quite died yet.

I am in a similar situation, since I do a lot of community theater. The NJoy Kings look and feel right--they even crackle a bit when you take a puff--but you cannot get them without nicotine. I would recommend the White Cloud Mini Flings. You can get ten of them for $30, and they can be had without nicotine. If people are smoking l continuously during the show, though, they may not last long enough, in which case you might want to get a white 808 battery per actor, a bunch of chargers, and zero-nic carts. Volt and Halo both have white batteries, in two sizes, with orange tips. Volt has pre-filled carts with zero nicotine and Halo doesn't. Of course, your prop person could fill blank carts and save some money.
