Hey Guys, i moved up from evod to kayfun to a genny tank then i even started building, all while not smoking! i got really lucky and landed a mod, props to interstate vape for their raffle, but now i want to try RDA chase clouds at home. i have done a bit of research and here is what i have seen. i have only experience with 2 gennies and my kayfun. ideally i want to expand my appreciation vapes and builds and try a quad coil setup for great clouds and flavor. what have your experiences been? is there an rda that i am missing that you recommend over these?

I looked at the magma and the Origen as well but don't have any first hand experience with them. The magma looks awesome though.

I have a Tobh, trident V1 and V2, origen, OG quasar, OG magma and magma clone. The magma's put out slightly less vapor but the flavor blows all my others away. The quasar and tobh are a close second for me. I like clouds but when you can get respectable vapor with outstanding flavor it's a win win.

For me the magma clone is actually better than my OG because the 510 threads are deeper and the posts are aligned better.

Here is what i have owned. I have sold off some and kept the ones i liked.

Authentic Magma - Specs look promising on paper but it was to loud of a RDA for me, Always leaked juice from somewhere and made it a messy RDA. Good vapor production but lacked in flavor. For the price, I didn't like it and sold it, Though the clone would be worth the price.

Origen v1- Awesome RDA. Great flavor, Great Vapor. Not really a cloud chaser but it will get you pretty close. Love the amount of juice it can hold, Can do vert/horz coil builds. One of my fav RDAs.

Origen v2 - With the specs, It sounded like a upgraded v1 but for some odd reason, The flavor was not as good as the v1 and due to its smaller chamber, I found it could leak easily. Sold it off and much prefer my v1

IGO-W5 - For the price? This is by far the best 22mm "basic" RDA out there IMO. Its your basic 3 post RDA but 22mm, larger air holes and the price cannot be beat.

Quasar clone - I bought the clone to see if i would like it. To small for my liking. Chamber is to small, Lacks flavor/vapor. O-Rings are way to loose for my liking, A good atomizer if your looking to try out new flavors and only drip a few drops here and there.

TOBH - Awesome RDA stock. I removed the tabs on the deck and now its even better! I can now build center post builds on my TOBH. Love the design, the look. Great flavor and HUGE vapor production. The design helps keep things cool.

I own a bunch of drippers and what you want all depends I how you plan to use it. I like single coil drippers sometimes so I have an Atomic that is a kickin 19mm dripper, twist the ring and you have airflow for dual coils. My Patriot is the same, single hole for single coil only.

Some of the drippers mentioned can be run as single coil but the AFC can't be adjusted for single coil.

My go to and by far the best dripper I own right now is the Viking, incredible vape but runs only dual coil. Super easy to build and the air holes sit right under the coils. The well is insanely deep and the flavor is excellent!

I have both the authentic and clone Magma, save your money and buy the clone because they are close, real close! The only mod I did to the clone was to change out the screws to hex.

Brass Monkee, dual coil and a rockin dripper. Four posts make it super easy to build. The Helios is the same four post and a real good vape. Sitting at work I can't remember if the ring allows for single coil.

What works for one person might not be the same for you. The Magma is a perfect example, I have never had a leaking problem with either of mine but I unscrew the cap to refill. The wells are so deep that you don't have to deal with it too often.

Just ordered an Infinite TOBH (brass) 22mm RDA and an Infinite Stingray (red/copper), along with two VTC5s from FluidVapor.com. Looking forward to a new setup, my Magma clone from FT should get here sometime soon as well. I almost added an Atomic to the shopping cart at FluidVapor but decided I had already spent enough with the first three things :)

I also have a bunch and like them for different reasons. First if you are just getting into drippers get an IGO-W with a Halo top cap. Great taste and does produce a decent clouds depending on juice and coil build. Now the best for taste is the Magma but not what I would call a cloud machine though more than a kayfun will produce. Some others that produce decent clouds and good taste are the Brass Monkee.

Now for the best cloud makers most of which also give great flavor also are the Omega, IGO-M, Stillare, Tobh. I'm still looking for a couple of others I want to try but just haven't come across them as of yet.

Hey reeftivo,

First of all had no idea that OG means the same ad authentic haha. Is the magma built with quads? Also how much better is the flavor?? Thanks btw

no quads on the magma. duals only. Fine for me since juice has been eating up funds more than anything. A few have said their flavor experience has been sub par with the magma but my experience is the opposite. Of course it will depend on your build but I find that setting my coild about 1 to 2 mm above the air holes gives me the best flavor. Any higher and flavor/vapor production drops off for me.

The best RDA I own is The Viking. Holds a ton of juice, produces a ton of vapor and is almost leak proof which is pretty rare for an RDA. Marc411 knows the deal.

Holy smokes that Viking looks bad .... Though I don't think it can fit 4 coils? Maybe I am too obsessed with getting 4 coils

You don't need four, go with some twisted 28 or a lower gauge and this dripper rocks!

Hey Muggs, I notice you are trying to fit you coil between the screws. Depending on what you are building your coil on use it to turn your coil about 30 degree's once the wire is set and the screws are tight. You can fit a whole lot more coil in that dripper.

Just turn each one in a different direction and it's a breeze to wick. I will try and get a picture tonight when I rebuild mine.

I think that I am a strange one, because ever since I got my Strata, my previous favorite, the Patriot, has been gathering dust.

The Patriot has the edge in vapor, but the taste with the Strata is INSANE. I also like the deep well. I can have a session, and put it down. Normally, I would have to drip again before vaping, but the deep wells in it wick back up juice, and I can get another session out of it.

As for vapor, once you learn the setup, it produces DENSE clouds
