I just bought my first RDA last week, and i am LOVING IT. I went with the Crown RDA clone by tobeco. It was the happiest accident to ever happen to my vaping world. I went to a local vape shop(and overpaid, but buy local and think global lol). I had every intention of picking up a patriot, but for some reasson they only had one left and refused to sell the display model to me, the only other RDA was the Crown by tobeco, and iwth me being a complete about vaping, I hadn't heard of it. After about an hour of small talk, I decided i couldn't leave without a RDA, so I ponied up and dropped $24 on it. I know i can find it online for a full $10 cheaper, but a bird in hand, yada yada.
I took it home and had my friend with about 2years more vaping experience check it out and show me how to set it up...
My vamo v5 doesnt like to sub ohm... so we wrapped up two coils with 13 twists a piece to give us a 1.5 ohm build. i have just gotten into DIy juicing, so I dropped some 90/10 vg homemade "Gaybar"(so fruity it couldnt be called anything else ;D) onto the dragon coil cotton, pushed the vw up to 12w and BOOM!!! BIG VAPES

This thing is AMAZING! i'm never going back to my innokin iClear30s. The Crown has Big clouds and big flavor. It's easy to build and looks regal. At $15ish online, everyone should at least try one.
I posted a video on youtube to show my brother who lives a ways away how good this RDA vapes, since this account is new I can't post links but if you want to get a quck look at it sittin on top of a vamo v5 go to youtube and search for the keywords:
Dadrun Kwan forecast cloudy
it should be the first hit. cheers and Safe vapin

the biggest points: ADJUSTABLE AIRFLOW, Cool look, Easy build

I'm actually not to happy with the crown RDA... It has horrible flavor but it does indeed have amazing vapor quality. I prefer to be somewhere in the middle of Flavor/Vapor production. With the crown I could barely taste anything I used.

I will NEVER ever buy another clone if there is anything possible that I can do about it!!

If I may ask what did clones ever do to you? Also just to humor you the launcher v2 authentic and Clone are made in the same factory with the same material. In just trying to figure out why you hate in clones so much. Not everyone has 200+dollars to throw around on mods and 80+ on rda/rbas.

bcameron have you had any leaking problems with the T7? I was going to pick one up but a lot of what I read said they had leaking problems.

None whatsoever while vaping but a couple times just after filling. Its the only con about this atty. Its really not good having the fill hole on top the way they do. When filling make sure the air holes are closed by adjusting the ring. If it starts leaking at the air holes right after you fill it, just turn over and blow through the tip while holding a paper tower at the air holes to get the liquid out and your good to go. You can also just a small bed of cotton in the lower juice well to catch it. But after that you won't get any leaks.

This thing wicks incredibly well. So leave the wick ends extra long. Tuck the wick into the base as you would a dripper, covering the whole base with a bed of cotton even covering all the juice holes. Just don't pack it in tight. I've been chain vaping this thing at .6ohms and never a dry hit.

A little underdog called A brass monkey. You can get the Monkey for 8$ from fasttech if you don't find the kinda long shipping time. It's free international shipping though! The Monkey has an adjustable airflow as well as a center post with a top-block on it making coiling super easy. I'm gonna order like 3 more just so I can have multiple coil builds and flavors lol. Also for another 4 bucks you get a second gold cap with 2 non-adjustable air holes. It looks pretty sexy imho.

$12.74 Brass Monkey Style Rebuildable Atomizer Kit - stainless steel + gold plated at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

The Veritas was cloned by Tobeco as well... And the Infinite CLT should be out next month. Both I've seen a lot about them... the CLT looks amazing with the comination of the Stillare/Helios/Tobh.

I am also looking forward to the CLT. China is stepping up its game with cool originals that are affordable!

The Zenith Clone is out and priced under $40 these days and the Atomic as also real nice. When you're looking at an RDA you need to decide how you are going to use it. The Stillare and Tobh are designed with dual coils in mind. While you can build a single coil in them there is no way to restrict the airflow to the single coil.

The two I mentioned will allow you to build a single coil and use the AFC to close the airflow to one coil.

Aluminum tape over the hole with no coil!
Playing around as we speak with a single coil on the Patriot (clone) and covered the non-coil hole with aluminum tape and it is very nice.
The dual coil stuff is great on flavor but when the whole RDA starts to get hot the flavor does too.
With the single coil this hasn't happened yet....

My first choice would be (as already stated) the Kayfun lite + clone by either EHPro or Hcigar, but they are usually a little over the $40 mark unless you get one one from Fastech.

My next choice would be the Aqua clone by EHPro and it is within your price point.
The Aqua is a great RBA but I do find it to be a "juice hog" and I wish it held more juice.

Edited to add... The Aqua does have some advantages over the KF style tanks though - duel coil (if thats your thing), adjustable juice flow, and you can recoil or rewick it without having to drain the tank.

If your an rda type of guy than the kfun is not a good choice. There are so many people that love them and they do work amazingly, I have an ehpro kfun lite, I would use it all the time if it wasn't so tight of a draw, its like sucking a thick milkshake through a straw, even with a drilled air hole, which doesn't do much because you can't make the airhole that's under the coil bigger. Just my opinion, bit I also vape at between, .1 and .2 with custom air flow.
