I picked up a Sigelei Mini and a smok XPro M50 that has been upgraded to 65 watts and I like both of them. I like the XPro a little more because it feels better in the hand and it slightly shorter than the mini.

The XPro has screws for the battery compartment so your not going to be changing the battery often but with pass-thru charging this isn't a problem for me. Note the the XPro 50 without the 65 watt upgrade does not have pass-thru charging. Actually most vape shops are selling the M50 with the 65 watt upgrade already installed and then the M65 should be all you will be able to get.

The Sigelei mini only goes to 30 watts but since I typically vape at 10 - 15 watts this is plenty for me. The battery case cover is held on by magnets so it's easy to change batteries when your out and about. The Sigelei comes with a silicone sleeve which was difficult to take off and put on until I put a pinch of corn starch on the inside and worked it into the sleeve now it slides on and off perfectly. It has a USB charging port but Sigelei doesn't recommend using the MOD while charging even though you can.

I am using an Efest 3100 Mah battery on the XPro and it just seems to last forever but if I ever wanted to push the higher wattage's this battery wouldn't be able to handle the current draw so I would have to get a battery that can source more current.
Make certain that with any MOD you get that you get the proper battery.

I would consider either of these mod's a good choice.

I was in the same situation as the OP. I went with the M65 due to reports of stripped 510 connections on the Sigelei Mini and too many reports of defects on the iStick 50w. I took a gamble on the Xpro and I'm happy with it. The battery replacement isn't an issue for me. It charges really fast and has pass thru. Plenty of power for my Subtank mini's, My only complaint is button rattle which I can live with.
