Can you get a really good sub-ohm from either of them though? With a dripper? I met a guy who told me if I want to drip I gotta get a Sigeli or ipv 150 watt and use at least 70 watts at 0.2 to get a true good sub-ohm. Fact or fiction?

Not true. So many things to reply to here. Yes, you can sub ohm and you can drip on either. Sub ohm is anything under 1.0, I do that on both. 0.2 is super low and though either mod in this thread can fire it, I wouldn't recommend it for many reasons...first, check out this threadMy thoughts about sub-ohm and latest VV/VW devices... | E-Cigarette Forum
That said... Please, if you decide you're going to run an 0.2 setup, go check out the calculator on the steam engine site & run some numbers... Look at the one for heat on your coil, compare to info in the thread I linked to... Then if you're still determined to do it, please look at amp draw, consider well your batteries, and research more about everything you can think of about it. There's a lot more you'd need to look at than a max watts number on the box mod. I don't want to read about the setup blowing up in your face. Not trying to diss you in any way, just remember my own days of "ooh this is cool, what's it all about?" and am very grateful for the people here who showed me where to start looking for more info - so it's a pay it forward kind of thing :) all the best to ya!!

Nothing beats the size and battery capacity (in one package) of the istick 50, however, there have been some issues with them, some rather serious ones as well that you should educate yourself on before purchasing one. It's also been noted it is best to keep the battery drain under 10 amps and to not run builds lower than .5 ohms on them. Eleaf as a company has been extremely lackluster in owning up to any of it. If you do decide to buy one make sure the vendor your purchasing from is aware of the issues and confident that they have a quality stock, or just wait until eleaf comes out with all the information in a public way. Just my 2 cents.

True amp limit is what, 15? Per printing on the batteries themselves? (No I haven't opened my 50w, I did my old 30 but on this I'm trying to remember what someone else posted here w pics-) so if I'm remembering the 15 limit right, then yes I'd say shoot for 10 to be safe. Always best to shoot under and have some margin of safety in the deal!!

I eventually got the 50 watt and its been good... I think you really have to avoid getting juice on the firing button and inside the charging port which is annoying, but so far so good. I haven't had to go below 0.5 on it, I can get a warm vape by adjusting the airflow. Highest I go is 35-40 watts on a .5-.6 coil. Even though some of the 150 watt boxes aren't huge, they aren't very portable, and with commuting even the iStick 50 is a little too big. Thanks for the info!
