A regulated mod has integrated circuitry to be a failsafe for every condition listed above, plus all of the ones added when building your own coils. That safety circuitry is the ABS and traction control for a new vaper. It will shut down if it sees something wrong. It simply won't fire.

A mech mod is "dumb" and will fire when it closes the circuit, no matter what dangers are present

I just got into vaping last week. Here is my goal. To quit smoking analogs. Then it will be to quit using an ecig device. Now my adiction is moral to the motion of smoking, inhale and exhale the smoke. Nicotine isnt really a problem. Ive got about 5 mls of 6mg juice left the rest of my juice is 0mg. I use the 0 more and just vape the 6 here and there mainly because I like the flavor. I dont plan or want to be admiten to vaping.

So I walked into a store, tried some juice and found some i liked. Asked the guy how much to get started. He sold me an ego spinner with a charger, juice, and iclear 16 for 40 bucks. It does the job. Started watching youtube videos and saw people with ecig with led displays and how they could change voltage and wattage and all that jazz and because Im a techie I had to have one. Immediately was looking at provari, then I told myself I dont want to be vaping forever so did I need to get one, NO. Then I decided to go cheaper. Ended up with an SVD. Its Vv and Vw and easy to use and navigate and looks cool to me. Now if I could do it all over I would have gone straight to a SVD, but having the spinner is nice for back up or on the go vaping
