Single coil and budget, I would say Lemo or Subtank. If you're not opposed to clones, I have other suggestions as well.

If you can afford $60-70, maybe the eXpromizer or an outlet GP Spheriod (they are slightly overpolished). For a little more you could get an outlet Heron, but you'll also need the 510 adaptor.

Kayfuns or better kayfun 4
I have an authentic and two clones, one by Hcigar and one by EHPro. Depending upon the juice I plan to vape I build them to somewhere between 1.2 and 1.7 ohms. They have all been trouble free, easy to build, and flavorful. I like them so much that I pick up another whenever I can afford to and have even sprung for colored glass tank sections from Spectrum Tanks to dress them up.

Hmm at little to expensive really, cant define spending that much on an RTA.

If you are using tanks that require factory built coil heads, that can be expensive. Most coil heads cost $1.50 and up. I was using at least three heads a week on my Kanger and Aspire tanks before springing for an EHPro Kayfun 3.1. All I've spent in the last year on coils and wicks has gone for a $7.99 100' coil of Kanthal wire and a few bucks for organic or Japanese cotton. The $40 I spent for my Kayfun was recovered in the first 3 months of not having to buy Kanger heads.

I only have to change out the coil about once in two months. The wicks get changed during a fill about twice a week. That only adds a couple of minutes to a refill.

Not buying a rebuildable tank is expensive, IMO. Right now, I'm about to buy a Tobeco Kayfun 4. That's about $40. The benefits are not having to drain it to replace the coil and wick, adjustable juice and air feed, along with the benefits of being able to fine tune air and juice feed to match the viscosity of the juice and maximize flavor and vapor.

It really doesn't have adjustable feed. Its either closed for filling or wide open for use :). It is a great tank though.

I got my Tobeco for $20 on ebay.

In Busardo's review he did say liquid control. I took that to mean "adjustable". My bad! I guess I'm gonna have to buy one to really know what's there ...

Would you buy again from the same vendor? Who was it? I might pull the trigger at that price.

When it first came out I thought the JC was adjustable, too. But, no, you either fully close it for top filling, or fully open it for vaping. Trust me, if its not fully open it dry hits.

Sure, I would buy again from that vendor. The price was right and it came quickly. I'll have to go look to see who I got it from. They had sold a ton of them and had good feedback. Its never given me any problems at all.

ETA: looks like ebay has pulled most of the listings. If you shop around you can definitely find it for $20-25.

I have a subtank mini at the moment with a 0.6 build. its a little low. I am using so much juice even at like 12 watts.....will a higher ohm coil resolve this issue

You would need a mod with step down that can go down to 2.68v for it to be actually at 12W.

What mod are you using? I'm guessing you're not actually at 12W, the heat up time would be super slow.

(Edit) I just tried vaping a .6ohm OCC in subtank mini at 12W and with a 5 second pull I barely got a whisp of vapor.
