Looking to get myself a RTA, mostly to be a daily tank. I currently use an Aspire Nautilus Mini when I'm driving or in public, an Aspire Atlantis when I don't feel like dripping and a Patriot RDA when I'm in the mood to chase clouds and rebuild. I haven't dipped into the RTA experience yet and I want to. I use a DNA30 box mod (7-30W) so I'll be able to build how I like to regardless of the tank.

My question is this: Which RTA is better as a starter? They both have adequate space to build and can produce clouds depending on your build. I've tasted juice off a 91% and it was delicious. The big difference is price. The Lemo can be had for $37 and the Russian is around $90. I don't want to get something crappy and have to experiment with more when I know I can get a good product for $90, but I don't want to spend that money if others have had great experiences with the cheaper Lemo. Annddddd GO!

I also vote for the Lemo or Drop.

With that said, if you wanted a Russian, you literally just missed the big Russian sale where they had the polished and sandblasted 316SS Russians for $30
Well isn't that a kick in the jewels hah. The Lemo seems like it might be the way to go for me. Been watching reviews and nobody is disappointed with it

Ive got two lemos and a lemo drop, I don't have a Russian but I do have a kayfun lite plus clone. Night and day in terms of airflow. The lemo is much easier to build and wick as well and flavor is sooo much better. Capacity wise, I prefer the full size for driving if that's a concern!

You can try both a drop and full size for the price of a Russian!!

Is there a big flavor difference between the full size and the drop?

I've got a Russian 91%, a KFL v2 and a Lemo. For a newbie (at least as RBAs go) I definitely recommend the Lemo. The KFL (and to a lesser degree, the Russian) is finicky; you have to get enough wick but not too much or you'll have dry hits or leaking. So far, the Lemo seems much more forgiving. Plus you need screwdrivers to fill and adjust the airflow with the Russian; those aren't necessary with the Lemo (it comes with plastic rings that have a plug that you can replace the fill screw with and I can adjust the AFC with a fingernail). And it comes with a glass tank, so you don't have to worry about juices cracking your tank (though in all fairness, I haven't heard of Russian tanks cracking, but you never know).
As far as builds, I'm currently using 28g kanthal with a 7/6 wrap on a 2.5mm post, hitting at 1.3 ohms and organic cotton wick. I'm using a DNA 30 box mod at 12 watts hitting at 4v. I've seen others talking about going sub-ohm on it, which is something that you'd probably want to avoid with the Russian.
