Best screwdriver type model and best place to purchase one?

I'm seriously considering buying a "screwdriver" model whether it's the actual screwdriver or not. They seem to be pretty good all around as far as I know. If someone could suggest a legit place o buy one with fast shipping and good customer service and also share a personal experience review/story that'd be great!

madvapes has them fairly cheap. I had to mod my screwdriver to do 6v. 3.7 wasn't cutting it. I honestly felt better throat hits on my 808D cartys. But at 6v, she shines.

Haha she. At 6v is it only the throat hit that's better or does it produce more vapor? I'm not too crazy about a big throat hit but I like a lot of vapor. Does a 3.7 screwdriver produce mre vapor than say a 510? Also I heat at 6v attys go dry reallly fast and get really hot?

Honestly, I didn't see a big gain in vapor production with the screwdriver at 3.7V. The batts do last alot longer though and the taste was great. Now at 6v, it does give me a more heavier vapor. Nice thing about the mod, you can still use it at 3.7v also. You can have the best of both worlds.

If you don't care about TH then forget 6 v. You will have massive TH. Screwdriver is a nice mod. I have 2... with a 1000 mHa battery it vapes very well.

They come with a 901 atty if you get the kit. I use a 901 to 801 adapter on mine because I fancy the larger attys. They take alot more abuse. The copper be112's from litecig are my favorites. They have the same threads as a 801 and give me a ton of flavor and vape.

I bought the Screwdriver MKII from Totallywicked.com and it comes threaded as a 901. If you buy from Trogg I think you can get them as a 510 or 901. Personally I have vaped from both a 510 and 901 and the difference is marginal at best. While Trogg sells the original and arguably better version, it does take some time to get here from Europe. The one from Totally Wicked he has in stock and takes just a few days to get. Battery life for me has been 10+ hours of heavy vaping.

As far as the mod goes, you have to shave the inside of the bottom case a bit to get 2-CR2 3v batts to fit.

Yesss the battery life is pretty much why I want it and also that you can use it with a 510 atty. I haave tons of 510 stuff that I can use with it. But do you have to change it in some way to be able to use it with a 510 Atomizer or what?

901 to 510 adapter. Then u can use your 510 attys. As for a video showing the modding get done, I have never seen one out there. You basically just shave the inside of it where the batteries go about an inch in. You'll feel the lip inside with your finger. Shave until the CR2's fit inside.

How in the world do you shave it? I don't own a bunch of tools or anyting and I'm not too handy

Alot of people use a dremel sanding wheel. I took mine to my uncles bike shop and used a mill. Aquavapor used to sell them premodded. I don't see them on thier site anymore. They might still do the mod though.

This is the ScrewDriver site. trog is the maker of the SD and sells 901, 510 or 801 MK1 models in different colours. Some places like TW sell the MK2, which is an official SD made in China to trogs specifications.
The 905 is not a screwdriver, its just a cheap copy. As are many others. I have been using my original 901 SD for over a year without any problems. Theres a sale on now worth looking at. Batteries come of the charger at around 4.1-4.2v, so plenty of vapour. If you want more try a low resistance atty on it
