I was using my vivi novas for "juice testing" at first because it was all I had, but found my personal preference led me to a couple cheap 510 atomizer that I debridged by following some youtube videos lol. Without all the extra junk in there its basically a little cup with a coil, drip 2 drops, give it about 4 puffs and switch. You might get one puff of the next juice that bleeds some flavor over then its full flavor of the new juice.

Yes they don't last forever, and yes I see a RBA in my future like a phoenix or an A7, but it does the job for now.

Good luck!

I agree, I'm new to vaping(1 month) and use a rotation of 3 V3 clearomizers for tested flavors. For testing new flavors I use a bridgeless atomizer that cost $6.00, it's easy to use, no flavor carry over and if it lasts a month I'm a happy camper.

Hmm...I just realized i may have to drip onto a blank carto with the filler out for acidic juices.

If your juice is dissolving carto foam I don't think you would want to vape it! Ive vaped lots of juices and never had this problem. SO you ether have bad carts or some very toxic juice! A cart with out any filler is basically a atty

In response to the original post
Dripping in to a standard atty is not messy if you master the skill. Just takes a little practice. They are easy to clean so easy to switch flavors if you use for testing proposes they will last almost for ever and they have very good flavor.

    My setup for dripping:
    P1000581.jpg

    #1 sealed shorty extension
#2 atomizer of choice (and there are lots of good ones)
    #3 drip shield
    #4 drip tip

Now for your spinner you will not need the shorty extension, and will want a "drip shield cone" instead of a drip shield (fits over the eGo threads)

You don't need RBA's, you don't need HH-357's if you don't want. You can make your dripping device as simple or as fancy as you want.

    add:
    Yes they don't last forever

When I fist started dripping, I ruined or popped several learning what I could and couldn't do. I went through the dry hit and flooding issues that are frustrating for everyone while learning to drip. Once I knew what I was doing, I have not ruined or popped a single atty, and have only had one die of old age. I have 357's that are almost a year old, and several different kinds of 510's that are well over a year old.

I believe what the OP was referring to was he had just purchased some Phoeniz ce3's for the purpose of testing flavors, then realized that the plastic in them might be vulnerable to the juices that can crack/melt plastic. I believe the reference to pulling the filler to drip on the blank carto was to make a homemade atty out of it for those flavors.

Well I went for a bottom coil Phoenix. See how that goes. I was thinking of the Kanger T4 but they are out of stock. Thanks again for the input.

I've heard good things and positive reviews about the bottom coil Phoenix. I see no reason why they could not be rinsed and reused. Good choice.

The CE3 (or Phoenix bottom coil) are the closest thing to a bridgless dripping atty. So much so that I cut the tube, removed the central tube, and use as it is, when I need a shot of pure undiluted nicotine DSCF6020.jpg, and it's far cheaper and longer lasting than any other atty. I can have 5 or 10 at a time, and they're easy to clean. Just flush with water. If the wick is too long, trim it a little. Two drops are enough, or it'll flood.

I test my juices filling the whole regular CE3 to the top. And if it's good enough, in goes to a Kanger T3 (same flavor, same form factor, bigger capacity) or into a CE3 3ml tank (less fiddly than the T3 in my opinion).

Yeah, Batitude is correct. I realized that the Phoenix tube may be no good for acidic flavors and that I'll have to mod a carto in the case I need to test such juice. That's citrus and cinnamon right?

There is a continuously updated list of flavors on this link. If you're suspicious of a flavor, check this list. If it's not on it, it "probably" is safe to use in any juice carrying device.

Stay away of 306 as well... I haven't had a problem with acidic juices, some of my CE3 are 4 months old!

I would definitely agree with the drip method for testing juices. I'm the type that hates wasting juices, even those I don't really like all that much. Now that I've got a few people I know into vaping, it's possible they may like something that I particularly don't, and they'll usually buy the bottle off of me. I also find it a lot easier to clear an atty than having to clean a clearomizer and when it came to cartomizers, I'd just toss one, which seemed like a waste to me. I know some people have cleaned cartos, but I always thought it was even more of a hassle to do so.

A absolutely agree...when i am trying a new juice vendor I might buy 10-20 flavors...I am certainly not going to waste a clearo or carto on a flavor that I might never use after just a taste.

Dripping is the way to go...then at least you know which flavors are interesting enough to fill a carto or clearo. You can burn the flavor right off or clean the atomizer in 91% Isporopol alcohol & keep right on tasting/vaping through your line up....I save the heavy & darks / cinnamons & chocolates for last on the atomizers...you'll be cleaning after those :)
