Start low, and work your way up. When you find your sweet spot, stop. If it starts to taste burnt/harsh/otherwise "bad" in any way, back it up a step or two and keep it there. I don't have an Atlantis but I like my Kanger Subtank (also with a .5 ohm coil) at around 25-35 watts.

My kanger leaks around the bottom. Haven't been able to figure out why. Have only had it maybe a month. Everything's tight.

My current setup is an istick 40watt with the aspire Atlantis 2. I'm trying to find the best setting(temp wattage) for max VG. Or any other tips and tricks of the trade that may come in handy. I'm running .50 ohm coils. Thanks for any input and hope to learn a lot on the forums
May be I've got a middle of the road vape. The first few days I was on a cheap pen style device. Then I went for about 6 weeks on a nautilus mini 1.8 ohm at about 7 watts. Then for some months it was an Atlantis with .5 ohm coils at 20 watts doing direct lung inhales. Then rediscovered the N mini and settled on mouth to lung inhales. Then I found rda's and never looked back but stayed at 20 watts until last july started temp control which for me is 30 max watts and 400 degrees. I don't want to go beyond 20 watts in power mode or 400 degrees in temp control.

A few things that can promote leaking.

1. drawing too hard on restricted air flow can pull liquid through the wicking faster than it is atomized and the excess will run down the air intake into the bottom chamber.
2. improperly seated gasket (learn where ALL of them are located and be sure you are seating them properly)
3. Faulty wicking
4 Liquid too thin

May be there are others I forgot. I onlyl do rda's these days.
