I like the sleek tube look and durability of mechs.

Basically yes.

I have made single/dual micro coil builds and single/dual macro coil builds but none of them tasted better than the stock dual .25 coils on my UWELL Crown tank. They were either on par or worse.

Honestly, with a tvf4 tank and prebuilt coils, you will be able to get the best flavor ( and nice some clouds) from a regulated device you can fine tune to the coil.

Just my thoughts.
And I'm a hardcore mechanical user.

Stay simple. Go for the kanger subox. You'll have plenty of power and it comes with kanger sub tank. You're set right out of the box. Coils for the subtank are easy to get at your local b and m or cheap online. Only thing is you'll need a battery charger, but that is something you're probably going to want anyways. Just my two cents.

Honestly it sounds like what you're looking for is something like the iJust 2, or joytech ego one with or without tc, aspire makes a couple, there are others, generally around $20-40.

They are simple unregulated devices with internal lipos that behave like a mech (well the ego one vt with tc may have a bit more going on), and are tube shaped.

I'd get a couple iJust 2s, they are cheap, simple, and whatever subohm tank you prefer, and call it a day.

edit, posted that before I read your last post. Most DNA200s have internal lipos, they are pretty good regulated devices.
