I have some flavorings and PG from the pharmacy. Now all I need is some nic. Suggested sites?
Who is MFS?Right at present, MFS has a sale going on. Unflavored, but you can buy flavoring elsewhere.
Unfortunately I just bought the 100mg due to more bang for the buck. Is there
a guide to mixing with what precausions to take and what to use as far as vials etc. To mix cleanly?
The mother load! Thanks Pure! You can get all that stuff here: Syringes/Pipettes/Tweezers : JuicyLiquid.com, DIY E-Liquid and Accessories!
I'd also recommend some cheap latex gloves for handling the highly concentrated nicotine liquid.
There is no sticky that covers everything I can't find the countless threads I read on the topic but a good start is to stalk "Kurt" who posted in this thread. He is a chemist by trade and I read a ton of his posts on the subject in various threads. Click his name and view his posts lol.
Basics are protective gear, clean organized workspace, and clean sterile mixing equipment. Don't leave uncapped bottles of liquid laying around when done with a bottle cap it and put it in safe area. like not near the edge of a table. If you have pets or kids I would not even attempt to mix with them present in the room lock them out. Have a plan prior to deal with a possible spill or contact with yourself. Basically everything you learned in chemistry class.
What I am going to do is cut it immediately down to 50 mg/ml strength which while still dangerous not quite as hot as 100 mg/ml. I have 500 ml so I will use a 1000 ml glass bottle I bought and pour into funnel directly into that huge bottle. Then simply add 500 ml of PG and that is 50% dilution right off. And I only have to handle the 100 mg/ml stuff one time.
I started with some platinum ice 54 mg/ml then moved to 60 mg/ml now I have this higher stuff. Would be nice if there was a sticky all inclusive safety guide. But maybe they want to discourage people from the +50 mg/ml stuff for good reason. Think of all the common household stuff that folks have accidents with like cleaners, pesticides, etc. No matter how much you tell people an accident is almost a forgone conclusion with so many consumers using a product. I treat it as a poison like pesticides in fact nic is used as a pesticide lol.
