I am looking for inexpensive options for ejuice flavoring. Is the concentrated flavoring used for ice cream/water/food the same as what is used in ejuice?

I know that PG can be purchased at some pharmacies and at places like Tractor supply. VG can be purchased at Walmart and also at pharmacies.

Nicotine concentrate is another story and can't be purchased OTC. The cheapest way that I have found is to get the highest concentrated nic from many of the vendors on this site and mix with PG/VG to get your desired strength.

Please correct me if I'm wrong on any of the above...

Here & There
ecigexpress and vaping zone and RTS vapes are having sales right now---info can be found on deals steals thread. I would stick to the tried and tested flavors that other vapers have used and buy online. A lot of people think highly of Wizard Labs. You want to avoid most of the flavorings for baking available at Walmart because they have extra ingredients and/or are oil based which may not be the best for you. You want flavorings in PG or alcohol preferably. You want to avoid diacetyl too. The VG and PG is a matter of taste--I didn't care for the VG at Walmart myself but others have used it. I do use the PG from the tractor store without noticing any difference. Anways you can buy online affordably if you look for sales and sign up for newsletters and you are correct the nic solution is the part of this that will cost you the most.

This is exactly the type of information I was looking for.

I do intend to get vaping and DIY e juices as cost effective as I can and I know that I will need to purchase some stuff online or at a B&M.

Hi kfrisbee,
I think we all want to do this as cheap as possible, but be aware that a gallon of PG has 3785ml. That would last me 9 years at my mix ratio and the PG could go bad long before that.
