best size wire and wickingto use?

Ive been vaping about 8 months now. I just purchased nemesis mech mod with 18650 batteries and a patriot dual coil rda . I was curiuos as to what size wire and wicking to use for good clouds and taste. And do i need to drill out the air holes.

I think you're going to get a lot of different responses, but for me, I use 28ga wire with japanese cotton.

Do you have an ohm reader or a DMM to measure your builds? Have you read up on battery safety, Ohm's Law, amp draw, etc.?

I too use 28 gauge with Japanese cotton or Rayon.

28 is an all around good gauge. I only use rayon for wicking. All these are personal opinions but you will have a good starting point. If your nemi came with the spring switch I do highly recommend fat daddy vapes magnet upgrade.

I just started but my buddy has been teaching me using 28g and 30g with japanese cotton. I like the 28g more since I feel less likely to break it.

Drill the air holes to the next size drill, use 28G Kanthal, and Japanese Organic cotton pads.

My dual coil RDA's are 28 gauge. If I single coil I move over to 26 so I don't need to have a billion wraps, but the gauge of wire is ultimately dependent on what resistance you want to end up at. I find my organic cotton works great for anything I build.

28 with Japanese cotton is pretty standard, but others give variances depending on what you want. Always good to try things.

I really depends on what you are looking to do...For me I am on a twisted kick lately...Most of my attys are running some form of twisted 30 or 32 gauge kanthal...Just made my first Clapton coils using 28ga as the core and wrapped it with 32ga flavor and vapor production are awesome. Made six wraps around a 7/64 drill bit for a dual coil build that comes in at 0.68 ohms.

26 and 27 gauge with japanese cotton for me. Wether or not to drill out your airholes will be depend on personal preference i suppose

Another 28G Kanthal, and Japanese Organic cotton pads user and very happy with my coils wrap them on a 2mm drill bit always check them on the ohm meter before I fire them.

32 gauge on a 1/16th inch drill bit. Japanese cotton. If you haven't found the coil building sub section yet, there is enough info there to cross your eyes for a week!
