Best source for 6x AW IMR 18650?

my usual, superTmanufacturing is down right now, and i hear the guy that reps AW is not doing it?

I need a source for AW IMRs....

any suggestions?

You might want to consider the Panasonic 18650s. They really are great batteries. Hers a great deal on them.

I am so confident with the AW IMRs, not only performance ( i like them much better than the MNKE IMR) Will these fit most 18650 mechanicals etc like the AWs???

I,m not caught up on this... Are they same as IMR safe chem?

edit; found the answer, in part at least: these Panasonic's are High Drain... which as far as i know = IMR.

tests on the pana... vs aw imr....

my favorite has been the AW IMR 1600, for a good reason... mostly mechanical, higher output than even the AW IMR 2000... and the Pana.

David said that the Panasonic would give slightly less vapor and t/h , but for the money, wth.

I can hardly find a deal on the AW's anywhere.

The Panasonic 18650CH batteries have been discontinued and replaced by the 18650PD. This is why they are currently a great price. My advice, if interested, is to buy up a supply of the CH's while you can. The PDs are not quite as good. FWIW, the CH were priced over double what they presently are. Amazon has sold out a while back but currently have stock I believe.
The CHs are hybrids and the storage media is not the same as IMR but the gateway? chemistry is that of IMR which makes them hybrids. Not reason given that I can fine for the reason they were discontinued but suspect the manufacturing cost may have contributed?
Just my thoughts.
