Hello and welcome to the forum himalayan3. Glad to have you here!

Below are some possible options (may be available in kits on some websites) for you to consider:

1. JoyeTech Ego-C Twist
2. Vision Spinner
3. Innokin iTaste vv v3
4. Innokin iTaste MVP v2

The first 3 are fall into the "ego style" category of battery (with variable voltage). They range in size from 600mah to 1300mah. The higher the mah the longer the battery will last between charging. The 4th one is a step up from an "ego style" battery in that it is a smaller box mod with a very big battery (2600mah). It will last many vapers a whole day before it needs recharging. It is probably one of the most popular batteries for someone upgrading from an "ego style" battery. Some vapers choose to buy one "ego style" battery as a backup and also purchase the MVP for their main battery.

You will need to purchase a tank (the juice attachment) with the first three on the above list. The mini Nautillus, mini Aerotank or regular size Aerotank (all made of glass & all have adjustable airflow control) are very popular. The MVP Kit comes with a tank but it is not glass.

When I switched form cigarettes, I had great experience with Halo Triton.

Used those for over a year.

Me too! I know that the Triton is outdated and doesn't get a lot of love here for various reasons but I have nothing but good things to say about it. Very well made, durable and reliable, important when you're a newbie trying to stay off the smokes. I can't tell you how many times I dropped that thing on the pavement and I never broke anything, battery or tank. I still use mine every day for on the go stealth purposes even though I have an MVP and an istick which I love. It's what got me off smokes a year ago so I will always have a soft spot in my heart for it. In the beginning, I needed super simple and it fit the bill nicely. It's Achilles heel is the odd threading though, if I had understood that at the time I probably would have bought something else.

I would go for a simple and inexpensive setup, ego battery and a disposable atty.

It's simple. You don't need the frustration of having problems with or forgetting some instructions. Press the button and suck.

You want 2 batteries. There is nothing worse than needing some nic and finding a dead battery. Or breaking your only one.

If by some chance, this is NOT going to happen for you, you give up vaping it is better to have a $50 paperweight than $200 worth of batteries, chargers, mods, etc. Get through the first couple of months without smoking and then decide. Some people are happy stopping smoking, lower nic, and then stop vaping. Some continue with a simple ego setup. Some get into the vaping hobby and spend thousands on gear. (You can spend thousands on any hobby.)

Again, if you keep it simple it will always be there to help you quit smoking.

Good luck.

I think the MVP2 will be the most recommended, especially since the cost is really minimally more. Both of mine, I got very early on and they are still working. My wife is starting to use one, so I am thinking of an Eleaf iStick. Get something that you can grow into a bit.

and get spares...congrats on not having a stinky!!

I started on the Innokin iTaste CLK. It's an ego style device with variable voltage. It is a pass through design, meaning you can vape on it while it is charging. I used it for about a month and gave it to my girlfriend after I got my iTaste MVP version 2. If you want long battery life, I highly recommend the MVP v2 by Innokin. I am vaping constantly all day long (19 hour days) and a full charge on the MVP would last 2 full days.
The best advice I can think of is to do lots of research before you buy anything.
