Also, not only does a 510 atty (or a 901, for that matter) cost around the same as 5 cartomizers - on average, it lasts at least as long as those as well. Cartomizers are meant to be thrown away after they are vaped empty once, 3-piece atties are meant to be refilled.
batteries are about the same price.

If you do consider a cartomizer, you should also know this.

I bought the case that you can charge with that comes with a battery and a pack of cartomizers from V4L, as this way I had everything I needed to get started, but was not out a fortune in case this didn't work for me.

Turns out I love everything from V4L, but I think that this is the way to go until you know what you like...

I went with the Vapor King and am very happy with it. My mom has a 901 so that we could have two in the house to compare. Both get the job done. I have refilled both and they are easy refills. It will come done to what you are looking for.
