Not a buyer beware just my experiences/ issues, i hear vary good things about these tanks.

Kanger subtank plus
Im throwing it away if the new rba head i am waiting for doesnt work because it "mine" seems to have a horrable issue with jumping ohms on my sigelei 150 and my mech mods, im not just talking a few .# im jumping from .5 to 3.4 and crazy crap even taking it off and reading it with an ohms meter and ive tried everything i can find to fix it, went thru about 20 occ coils, white, red insulators dont matter. Removed all parts, cleaned, reassembled makes no difference. Coils will last maybe a few hours even at 10 watts.

Herakles Tank v2 "dual air holes"
Seems great so far no issues other than it spits alot of juice and i can tell im using a heck of alot from that issue.
I agree. I love my Herakles. I didn't know they had two versions. The only issue is spitting. I can get it to stop for awhile but I have to fix it a couple times a day.

I'm currently using the Horizon Arctic tank and no complaints from me here. However, with all the new sub ohm tanks that have came out recently I've been thinking of trying a different one. I've heard good things about the Herakles and I'm also considering the Isub G because I'm a big fan of Innokin. Any thoughts? What's your favorite sub ohm tank?
I really like the Herakles, it has decent airflow and good flavor. However I got my Freemax Starre in the mail yesterday. By far the best tank to date in my opinion. Airflow is gigantic and puts out the best flavor of any tank I've owned. It vapes like an RDA.

I want a Starre so bad. Looking like I'm going to have to buy one because my Facebook deal fell through. It sucks buy stuff all the time and half of it winds up collecting dust more than anything. First world vaping problems. The struggle is real

Couldn't agree more! I think the Herakles is a great tank, but the airflow is a little too tight for me. Whether it'll help you out as far as availability, you can run the .2 Herakles coils on the Starre. I didn't like the .25 when the Vapeston Maganus comes with .2, save 15 bucks, buy the Starre, and run Herakles coils. (That's what I do because I can't buy the Maganus or Starre coils locally)

You won't be disappointed. I had one of the 1st batch, and even purchased a second when they made some modifications when they started mass producing them
(gave more room to fill, better threading & airflow adjusts easier/not as clickie)
I love them both.. I would suggest using the .5ohm coils if using a device 50w or under (like iStick50) and using the lower coils if you have more power to play with
Enjoy

Go with the Herakles, I've had an Atlantis, Maganus, and Herakles and Herakles is still my go to. I love mine and even though the Maganus says it can do 150w its only for a second or two on the .2 coil plus it's little to no flavor and the tank is around $50-$60 retail. Don't get me wrong it's a great tank on the .5 coil easily doing 100w and reaching at 120w. However, the Herakles with its .6 coil can easily do a 75w-100w with just as much flavor and only $20-$25 now. There are only two problems with it, sometimes it will spit a little bit of juice back at you but to me that's just more flavor lol and the other is a smaller tank at 3ml.

Its not just on the sigelei 150 i can put it on a mech mod and it will do the same, shoot when it happens i have taken the tank off and put it on my ohms meter and it jumps like crazy. Wish it was that simple because i really like the way the subtank plus vapes on the sigelei i just dont like taking a nice hit at .5 ohm 4.3 volts then the next is 3.4ohm at 7.5,

best thing to do which i have done!
Is to drill two holes on both sides above the juice channels and voilà no more dry/burnt hits trust me it works like a charm

make sure to use extra cotton to cover up the holes frm the inside! And nothing is sticking out! And make sure its fluffy and not packed up :D

im vaping 70/30 VG juice

I find that getting the best tank is nothing if you can't match it to the best mod for that tank. One mod my work great with one sub ohm tank and fall flat on another. Do your homework on both the tank and the mod even if you don't plan to buy them together. Buy half now get more cash buy the other half. Just know what you really want and what you want out of your mod.

I've used Atlantis, Kanger mini(rebuildable and stock coils) and now the new Innokin Isub Glass. The Isub glass delivers more flavor than the others AND costs almost half of the others. Not to mention its NO FUSS and the coils are $10 for 5. No brainer, the Innokin Isub is a clear winner.
I've also used all three. My least favorite is the iSub G (glass). While it is the cheapest and the replacement coils are cheap as well, in my experience the coils fir the iSub G do not last very long. The coils are rated for between 20 and 30 watts. When it is a brand new coil, it works great. However, by the second or third day of use, if you use it at the rated wattage, you will run into wicking problems and start getting dry hits. I have been using a 60VG/40PG juice and anywhere between 20 and 30 watts, if you vape less than wide open and for longer than 3 seconds, you will get dry hits. I vape it at 17 watts and keep my vapes under 3 seconds and don't get any dry hits. One nice feature of the iSub G is that the coils have a metal grid covering the coil, so even if the coil pops, you do not get any juice popping up into your mouth.

In my experience, the Subtank Mini shines at between 20-25 watts. Any higher and the vape starts getting too warm for my taste. With the Atlantis, I can vape at much higher wattages, between 30 and 35 watts and don't run into any problems with it. These wattages also accounts for the fact that the Subtank doesn't wick VG heavy juices as well due to the fact that the coil only has two wick holes versus four with the Atlantis. I have used juices as high as 80VG and even 90VG and have no wicking problems.

-- I also agree, I find the iSub to be.. well you get what you pay for. I find the flavor muted and wasn't impressed. I tried it with 3 different flavors (all got their own new coil) then gave up with it and haven't used it since lol

-- As for the Kanger Sub, Many people have had issues with the wicking when using the OCC coils. The cotton in there is just way too tight to allow high VG juices, long hits, or higher then 25w at times.

Here is a nice and easy quick fix that actually does work..

Hope this helps
