I really like TFA RY4 Double @ 8-10% with 1 drop of AP per 5ml for nuttiness. At times I add 2-3% Caramel and 2% Vanilla Swirl for an even sweeter treat.

Cheers,
Steve

Funny you say that. I'm vaping %10 ry4d 3% caramel 2% vanilla swirl, also, should have ap in my vape

Would a small percentage of sweet or bavarian cream do RY4 justice (I have a bunch)? I want to try some diy tobacco but everything i've tried so far has a clove twang to it I don't like.

Ry4 has more floral notes than ry4 double which has more sweet notes.
I haven't personally tried it but it's worth a shot. Make a small batch with %5 caramel %3 bavarian cream.

I vape premixed nutty tobacco and have had no luck cloning it. One tastes of toasted pecan, another toasted almonds and another walnuts. I don't like peanut or peanut butter and have heard 555 described that way so haven't tried it. I've heard AP described as nutty by some and corn chips by others so I haven't tried that either. Good thread I'll be keeping an eye on.

AP is nutty at 1 - 2% and cornchip 2.5 - 4% and burnt tasting above 4%. It's all in the way you use it.

Thanks Danny. I'm ready to order some flavors and will get it. I'm thinking I'll just add some to Oakwood first just to see/test for nutty taste minus the influence of actual tobacco flavorings as I usually put it in my tobacco mixes for the dryness I like. If it turns out to be the missing ingredient trying to clone, I really owe ya.:)

I find the hangsen highway tobacco at 5 - 7% and AP at 1% work very well together in giving a nice nutty 555 tobacco taste.

Hey Danny, quick question. What is your favorite all time recipe?
You seem to know your stuff pretty well as I see you all over the forums. Wouldn't mind making a batch from a pro

I don't have a favorite. I rotate through 3 - 4 different mixes in a day because I get board easily.

But I use a 35pg/65vg/18mg base with 4% saline for all my mixes

and

7% hangsen highway
1% AP

Or

7% hangsen ry1
2% hangsen vanilla

or

7% hangsen elder captain
2% AP

or

5% hangsen juicy peach

are just a few I have lots of simple 2 or 3 ingredient recipes that keep me interested. I find rotating your mixes throughout the day is the key to flavor rich vaping and helps avoid taste bud burnout.

my tastes are simple. Adding .5% EM and .5% marshmellow to all of these adds a nice thickness and slightly wet sweeter edge.

It all depends on your taste but if you start with good flavoring such as hangsen or Inawera you can't go wrong.

Thank you! So would you say hangsen tobacco's are superior to tfa's? How's their ry4?
