So, I'm actually looking for the best way to get a solid and consistent flavor. I've been working a VV ego with stardusts and a mini-nova, but haven't been too impressed. The stardusts started off well, but then got a chemically smell to them. The mini-nova I once gave a Smarties-like flavor to it, and it still has that taste to it.

I think I'm going to get a Pro-vari. What should I get to hold my juice to get me the purest flavor?

I use both carto tank combo (Pyrex) and dripping attomizer. I like the the drip for flavor so long as I control it well. Since I like to vape for long sessions, sometimes seems endless, the tank ends up being much more convenient and it's a close 2nd

Same here. Dripping off the HH.357 had a slightly better taste, but Pyrex tanks with good cartos (2.5 or 3 ohm) win for ease of use.

I use a Phiniac tank but the IBTanked Pyrex tanks are nice also.

Typed on my mobile. Please excuse typos.

Yea Thrashers right a carto with a IBT Phiniac or any with a glass tank. Fro Dripping a RBA atomizer dont let the advanced user thing scare you off just do your home work first. If you like the RBA dripping atty then you can graduate to Geny But for an all day at work or play cant beat a carto tank also a good punch I like the one at VIP Vapor but any will do and a slap yo Mamma tank filling tool. Sounds like alot of work but really once you have a system down its just minutes from empty cart to full tank and vaping. and less than one minute for a refill

Cartotanks: I prefer pyrex over polypropylene; glass is an inert substance, so no interference with flavor like plastic "might". IBTanks are quality and inexpensive; the 19mm diameter ones are the perfect size for the smaller or more slender mods. Triple V pyrex tanks from Valley Vapes are nice and also inexpensive, but their diameter is best suited for larger mods. Phiniacs are great, but pricey.

Cartomizers: Probably more important than the tank. Ikenvape Platinum or Fusions (now available in 510 threading). Best I have found to produce clean flavor and seem to last 2-3 additional refills in the tank than the Smoktek's that are now my backup carto. Problem is the Ikenvapes are often out-of-stock.

I agree with the cartos and carto/tanks. I also drip. Even with your vv ego, try some cartos. I like the Smoktech 1.7 ohm XL cartomizers the best. They even work well on a plain ego 650. You don't want to go over about 4.2 v with that low of resistance, though. I like the draw on them. Others prefer the Boges. To me, the Boges are too airy of a draw. And, since I use a high VG juice, the Boges tight wadding are more difficult to fill.

I'd love to try the Kangers and Ikenvapes but they are always out of stock, it seems.

Hands down vapest vape i ever vaped hands down....dripping gives ultimate flavor, but my reo grand has the most consistant vape ever. As for the provari i dont believe that will give you flavor change. Reo has a VV grand, sweet mod. I also have used tanks and carto variations that all do their job, yet consistant they are not. Perhaps if u are using different juice with varying pg/vg ratios, then a single carto setup would IMO never offer a consistant vape. And this is more of my way to preach the simplicity and pure awesomeness of the reo. But what can u expect from a reonaut? With the reo you can use any carto/atty setup and they all work well. But i use LR 1.7 ohm cisco spec 306's. I also like the HH 357 510. If your seriously thinking of getting a provari, talk to some other reonauts about their VV grands. We love to offer the gift of hassle free vaping. :)

the one that you like the best.

really, thats the best awnser. SOme people absolutely love high volt low res stuff others are on the other end, many like both. some of us use 3.7v ego's with 2.4ohm clearos (and sneak in the occasional rn4081 puff) but really its up to your taste buds to tell you which oen is the best.

I find the hh .357 2.0 ohms long barrel atty is best for flavor. If I test new e-juice flavors, I always use one of these. You'll have to drip often though so if you don't like the idea having to drip 3 drops of e-juice after every 5-8 pulls, for example, then perhaps legitimate boge cartos (or carto-tanks using boge lr) give me the 2nd best flavor. Viva novas are pretty good and consistent too but I prefer Boge cartos.

Taste is so subjective so it's best to try just about everything, plus its fun too lol.

I love my RBAs but it's wick/coil skill dependent. As someone else mentioned earlier, that's more advanced and unless you're ready for a true learning curve, I think it's better to get a good understanding of the other ways to vape first. :2c:

Either way, enjoy your provari and best of luck on your vaping journey :)

I do the bulk of my vaping on a Provari with a Pheonix clone. You can drip 8 drops or so in it, enough to get to work without refilling. Also enough for a good solid vape break. It's pocket friendly being sealed on the bottom. They are easy to make a coil for too. Also a dry burn gets into better-than-new shape. I have at least a half a dozen of them, I dedicate them to flavor catagories. I have a couple of VV bottom feeder that I haven't used in ages.
