I use both Smoktek 1 and 2 hole laser-drilled cartos and Ikenvape Platinum punched with 2 laser-drilled holes. 75% of my e-liquids are the 100% Vg made by virgin vapors, vaperite, and dripeez. I don't have any issue with flooding.
I'm curious as to how you prep your carto prior to putting it into the tank.
I follow the method shown in the below video, in addition to putting a wood tooth pick into the center air hole to prevent unwanted liquid of getting in there while driping the juice. I fill it until the polyfil looks like a slushy drink, wait a few minutes, and top it off again if needed.
I then remove the toothpic, install my Slap yo Momma tank tool (
A PBusardo Review - Slap Yo Mama Multi-Purpose Adapter - Big Daddy Vapor - YouTube ) onto the carto, and lubricate it and the carto before inserting it halfway into the totally assembled tank. I fill the tank 3/4 full and then push the carto the rest of the way into the tank. Remove the tank tool and replace it with a drip tip.

I use a slow, steady, 5 second draw to inhale from the tank. Too hard of a puff can cause too much juice to fill the carto and lead to flooding.
