I've been reading a lot of recommendations for the Nautilus over the past few days. Newbies never plan on rebuilding, but when you realize how easy it is to do and how much better the flavor is, nothing is as easy as rebuilding a protank single coil.

If you were to go with stock coils, the Nautilus coils cost twice as much as the protank coils. No clue how people can say they've been using the same coil for weeks/months. I went through stock coils once every 3 days before I started rebuilding.

What is the best tank for getting good flavor? I have the iclear 30, protank 3 (which is constantly tasting like silica) and a evod. They all give flavor but I want a tank that really gives off some nice taste.

Rekliner, I can recommend the Aspire Nautilus, but only when used with the BVC's {bottom vertical coils), the mini uses the same coil, but I have no first hand knowledge with them.
The Evod uses the same coil as a Protank2. If you are up for winding coils and rewicking then you can get some good taste out of them.
A lot of folks think for the best flavor you need to go with a RDA. I tend to agree with that, but again you will have to wind coils.
So, long story short, I think the Nautilus with BVC's would give you what you're searching for.
Good luck in your search....

I have 2 Aspire Nautilus Mini's and 1 original Nautilus... All using the Genuine Aspire BVC coils at around 13 to 13.5 watts... I can't recommend them enough! They are awesome! Great flavor and impressive vapor too. An additional bonus is that the heads last for about 40-60 ml's each! (at least they do for me and my wife).

Honestly for a non RBA this wins Horizon Spartan Pyrex 3.0ml Adjustable Airflow Tank System or the mini Horizon Trojan Pyrex 2.0ml Adjustable Airflow Tank System. The problem is replacement coils are hard to come by and I cant find them at eliquid USA. I ordered my Spartan from them. Cheapest I could find and received in 4-5 days. It produces very good flavor and have not had any issues with it or the mini version which I also have, but paid a lot more from another vender.

If you dont want to fool with that then the Nautilus seems to be the way to go.

I have the trojan and love it for my at work tank. A vape shop in cherry hill nj called "greatest vapes" sells the spartan, trojan and the replacement heads. The adjustable airflow on it is top notch and maintenance is non existentent. Cant recommend it enough! Just started with rda's and doubt the trojan will get much love unless i have a long car ride or some other nonsense. Rda flavor and vapor in my new stillare is untouchable from clearos imo.

I don't, and never will, build my own coils. I'm thinking of trying a Nautilus for my vapeversary treat, but in the meantime my favorite is the Anyvape Davide. It can be used as either single or dual coil, using the standard Kanger coils. I also like the mini protank and the regular protank with an added air control.

Personally, I was very underwhelmed by dual coils. Somewhat more vapor, no more flavor than a single coil, and they eat up power and juice. They are great if you like recharging your batteries twice as often and buying twice as much liquid for a very slight improvement in flavor.
