I am using a really simple VV X6 battery and have hooked up a few tanks to it, stuff a few years old. I have some carto-tanks, a vivi-nova, and a kanger protank II.

What I love about it is it is just so simple! What I really don't like about it, is the only thing that consistently produces half decent quantities of vapor is the carto tank, and it tastes burnt now and then.

I've been away from vaping for maybe a year plus and so much has happened since then. Is there a really high vapor producing tank that does not require you to build your own coil? What is the low maintenance, relatively low cost tank that really puts out vapor these days?

Your help is sincerely appreciated!

Another vote for the Eleaf line of GS Air tanks -- there is an entire thread devoted to these here: Eleaf GS Air Fan : Part 2

The newest of the line is the "GS Tank" which takes either standard coils or sub-ohm coils, also made by Eleaf. The coils are rebuildable IF YOU CHOOSE.
Here's a link to most of the currently available models: Eleaf Tanks - Eleaf - Clearomizers Tanks

I just got back into vaping after a couple years away... Jumped back in with a Coolfire 4 and Kanger Subtank nano with .5ohm coils.

Small tanks, easy to use, glass, and comes with spare glass and o-rings and 2 coils (one .5 and one 1.2)massive air holes, just real quality product to behold. I'm a photographer who really appreciates good engineering when it comes to lenses etc, so can definitely see it in these tanks and the CF4. Ran two tanks of Spacejam Eclipse through it so far and still hitting really well between 25W to 30W.

Great starting point to jump back in at, though I would recommend a 50W capable device as you can get a bit bigger clouds and more warmth, though I'm finding what I have more than enough right now.

For daytime I really like a lighter more portable vape and have an ego 650 mah battery with a Kanger EVOD. I reckon their dual coil ones would be a great thing to jump back in with also...

Just my tuppence worth. The iSubtanks from Innokin get rave reviews also....

The eleaf GS Air seems like a great choice, cheap enough, works good, etc. Thanks for the recommendation. I ordered this one with a 5 pack of replacement coils. Hope it works good, I love to casually vape but hate to phart around with leaking and burning tanks or poor vapor.

I use genuine Kanger EVODS for my work vaping, on an EGO 650mah battery. Cheap replacement coils, easy to fill etc. Low powered vaping but in my experience one of the best tanks for low powered vaping and great flavour compared to my old ego-c's. I tried clones and all I can say is it's not worth it, get genuine and they last ages and do not leak at all.

For higher wattage vaping I've only used Kangertech Subtank Nano and probably only ever will as they are so good at flavour and vape production and so well made, 100% leak free (filled tank up 4 times now) build is top notch, etc I cannot imagine wanting anything else to be honest.

The airholes work incredibly well, full open for just mad warm flavour and huge dense clouds at higher watts lung hits or mouth to lung works fine best I'm finding between 25-30W on the .5ohm head (not tired the 1.2ohm coil yet) and two holes for a cooler vape or one hole for fuller flavour MTL hit at lower watts.

Evods are a really good compromise between lesser stuff before it (cartos, egot, ego-c, clearomisers) and more expensive tanks for an ego battery. Good for a light vape and economical on juice get good th even at 6mg I find and can make cheaper juices sing so I can use the gourmet juices in my subtank for full on pleasure vaping at zero nicotine. You can by dual coil ones now also. Haven't tried them yet.

The subtank nano really has wow'd me. The flavour is out of this world. And all other sub ohm / high V / W tanks were too big for my tastes.

Only problem is be ready to go through juice twice as fast as with an EVOD or similar.....

I only go by really good consistent reviews and don't want to pay more than these cost either, that said I might try an iSUB G for 2nd flavour as they are a bit cheaper and get really good reviews all over the place too. Replacement coils bit cheaper too.

Just my tuppence worth,YMMV.
