I guess searching this massive forum for "best tank" just don't cut it.

I started with Volcano's Tube tank, got on clearomizers, but now I'm seeing more videos about tanks and am interested in getting another one. GrimmGreen's video re-sparked my interest:

Really, I'd like to try the cartomator, but from both Nhaler and Vaperfexion, they're sold out.

What's the best tank option out there? What's the best tank-cartomizer to go in it? And out of them, which will go best on my eGo-C Twist? :)

Thanks in advance.

Many people on hte forums seem to love IBTanked and Phinaic tanks. I have yet to try them myself though. Still working on the vape budget. ;)

I do have a Boge I17 tank which is a smaller skinny tank that I love the flavor of BUT I find it slips up the carto and leaks alot so although it works great on my ego batterys it stays home on my gripper. Leaks too much for travel if I bang it around too much.

For all intents and purposes, there are two basic kinds of tanks. Cartotanks which use a cartomizer as the atomizer delivery device. And clearotanks which use silica string wicks to draw liquid to the atomizer head (ie Vivi Nova, Kanger Protank, etc). http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/index2.html

The quality of the vape from a cartotank will depend greatly on the quality of the cartomizer used. There are two major brands of cartomizers - Boge and Smoktech. Both differ mainly in the polyfiller used to wick the juice to the atomizer. A third brand is Ikenvape, which has become quite popular and is the brand that I use. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/3295-2-sample-list-vendors-selling-pre-punched-single-coil-cartomizers-cartotanks.html

For an eGo Twist, which is a very slim battery, you likely will want a slimmer cartotank. I would recommend a pyrex cartotank: either a 19mm IBTanked or a Skinny Phinny from Phiniac.

Using a pyrex-tubed tank will allow you to use any flavor of e-liquid without fear of it possibly cracking or melting the tank. Pyrex will also not "taint" the taste of your e-liquid as it is an inert material.

You will likely want to get an eGo cone cover to go between your tank and your battery to cover the connector.

For your convenience, here's a link to my blog where you can find a cartotank setup method that I have been very successful with: E-Cigarette Forum - Baditude - Blogs

For the money I like the Smok Tech pyrex DCT using single coil cartos. Since it is pyrex you can vape ANY e-juice you want. They are built quite good as well.

Just got the smoktech Pyrex - love it- same problem with most others - it doesn't lock the carto - that's why I love the AGR

Problem with the AGR though is that u can't vape caustic juices - then it's time to invest in a Pyrex tank - too much fun stuff to vape with out there - I love this hobby

Someone said this about the protank:

I have gone to use it a couple of times and it hasn't produced any vape... I've had to unscrew the tank off... put the atomiser back on the bat and fire it up till it makes some noise - then screw the tank back on and away it goes? I've also had some leaked at the bottom of the thread.

Anyone having this problem?

Lol at Tugg n chases avatar :)
