Hi guys,

This is my first post, but I ran across something last night I like to share. I love my orchid v4, but hated the bottom screw fill method. I tried the top fill method but kept getting too many leaks. Then I saw the kayfun custom top cap on fasttech, but seemed like you have to tweak it in order for it to work with the orchid v4. So what I did last night was I took the top fill cap from my kayfun V4 and put that onto the orchid V4. Fits perfectly and work flawlessly! I just open the top nut, plug the 2 orchid air holes with my fingers, and fill from the top. Super easy, no needle tip bottle needed. Once filled, I close the nut, flip the orchid upside down, and let go of the air holes. Then I blow into the air holes and fire my stingray while its upside down. Not sure if the last step is needed since I never see any juice leaking out at all. That's it! Now I can't think of one thing that I don't like about my Orchid V4. All you need are these 2 parts from fasttech

sku # 2040610 - lower part of top cap for kayfun v4

Ok, yes.

I am the new owner of an Orchid V4 and have watched the tutorials although if you are trying to match a clone tank to your version then the results are going to differ.

I have lost maybe 15 ml of e-juice in the last 3 days over my desk, my hands, jeans, carpet to the point of wanting to bin this tank,

I have tried bottom and top filling with all the clever and insightful techniques suggested by our dedicated vaping community/forums internationale and it still hasn't produced any significant improvements until I got angry! I turned green and stuff and burst out of my shirt striking a pose only fit for a man naked with a beautiful woman. Here is a remedy that produced no leak! You're welcome!

On this tank, it has two air intake holes on the bottom that will leak as the vacuum is lost with unscrewing the top/head or base refill screw', however I plugged the holes gently with a wooden cocktail stick, cutting one in half and using the cut end to slide into the intake hole for a snug fit and then proceeded to top fill.

I filled from the top and screwed down the header cap wiping away any residue that the threads pushed out and then pulled out the sticks to reveal a tiny amount of liquid emit from the internal chamber to the breather hole on the outside, 0.01 ml of liquid at best.

The Orchid V4 is a great tank but it has huge drawbacks with leaking, hope this helps and maybe someone can benefit from not experiencing initial woes.

Cheers.:D
