Can't speak to V3 but I've been using the V1 for 3 years now with no issue. Some folks are harder on their
stuff than others. So many lesser mods just don't stand up imo.

If I had it all to do again I'd do it the same, buy quality first then play around with other stuff if wanted.
I've purchased a lot that really wasn't necessary.

No, the provari is not worth it.

I own a provari, it works 100% of the time, every time...

My 35$ MVP is just as rugged, and does pretty much the same thing. The 40$ MVP2 or the MVP3 will give you an amazing vape.

Take a look at the Vamo V9... 40 watts, rugged with the same size and 43$

The provari is great, but its not worth the money... buy one used maybe... I wouldnt buy another one regardless of the great vape it gives me and the insane low price I got it for used...

IMO the Provari 3 is totally worth it ***for a certain style of vaper***. If you vape using clearos, cartos, or build RBAs in the 1 ohm and up range, it's probably the most solid mod on the market and it's got a great warranty. If you are into building RDAs, or want to use one of the new sub-ohm clearos like the Atlantis, the Provari would end up as an expensive paperweight.

I have read nothing but good things about the Provari. Quality is an important factor in hobby or lifestyle. That is the main reason I will not use anything accept a reo. It is all a personal preference. I do have to agree the mvp2 is a very dependable mod with a fantastic battery life. Good luck to you and I know you will make the right decision for you.

A few months ago I would not have agreed with you. I have 4 Provaris, with 1 of them being the P3. I like my Provaris and have never had any issues with them at all....but a few months ago I also started buying a few box mods, which are great.

I'm not trying to say the box mods are better quality, or even a better vape, but when it comes down to " bang for your buck", all I know is that the P3 cost me $291.00 out the door, and my latest box mod (Sigelei 150w) was a whopping $109.00.

Is the P3 better quality than the Sigelei? No doubt, but for almost a third of the price, I'm sold.

Worth it, is very subjective and the opinion as to whether or not it is worth it is up to you. My wife has a mini and loves it. I like many others, look at it and fall over from sticker shock. I suspect my wife has significantly more class than I. I drive an old pickup that I've owned since 75. If her car reaches 5 years old it's time to upgrade.
So, worth it is totally up to you.

I bought one used with all the attachments and it's my back up. I can buy any cheap fun box mod to chuck clouds with and I know for a fact Everytime I need it, it will perform. I always have tanks around just in case my rba's/drippers want to be finicky. So firing sub ohm also isn't an issue. My quit is important so I always have something reliable there for me should it come to that. The sticker price provided security, which makes the sticker price a non issue for me. But it's your priorities that you need to address to decide if it's right for you. Good luck with your choice!

There are MANY, MANY great mods, all different price points. They all appeal to different segments of market. I've been at this long enough that I have used a little of everything (and still continue to do so). Have never tried a Provari but I do own many REO wooden box mods. If Provari made a box mod, I'd probably try it too.

The MVP it a great small box mod. I have 4 and still use my Kanger Aerotanks on them. The cute little iStick is also great if you understand its limitations (it runs HOT) and have a tank that runs well on it. My Nautilus works great on it. Both KangerTech and eLeaf have/are coming out with upgrades and they will both continue to appeal to vapers at a very reasonable price point. Eventually the internal battery will give out. However, eventually could be a couple or years or more. By then the market will have probably changed drastically and you will be interested in something else. My MVP's are still going strong. And both are great mods if you are interested in getting into rebuildables. I have some rebuildables I run on my iStick and MVP as well. Anyone interested in the new MVP 20watt here's a deal for you: $29.99 until 1/16/15. And if you are interested in the new eLeaf iStick 30 watt (it still runs hot) there is this: $31.49. Not sure how long this is good for.

And I can't forget to mention you Danbrooks2k. I too couldn't resist trying the Atlantis as well. GREAT vape especially considering it uses a stock coil that can be rebuilt! Looking forward to trying it on my new iStick 50watt. If you are looking for coils for it (or for the Nautilus) here's a great deal: 40% off replacement coils, Offer good until 1/19/15. Max quanity 2 per product.

I don't have a p3 but i have read mostly positive comments.
I thought about one and for me was $300 delivered but i went for sigelei 100w plus for $100 delivered.
Offered me more variety for builds with the extra wattage and other things I preferred.

Worth it is up to the individual - I recently started DIY juice at a fraction of the price of store bought and even in the early stages its been just as good and sometimes better than the store bought.
I think $20 for 30ml store bought is the ceiling but people are happy buying liquid that cost more.

It really depends what you want a provari won't offer you more then what other apvs will as in it will provide power to your coil at the end of the day the best thing about a provari is the consistency which used to be a bigger deal when the first provari came about and the competitors said you was getting 4.2 volts and you ended up with 5 but the quality and consistency of other devices has improved dramatically since then but if you are looking for a Bomb proof device which has as many options as you could need (rumoured heat control but not verified) then the provari is a fantastic device as long as you can deal with 20watts as your hard limit I can which is why I own a p3 and have only used provaris for my regulated mod since I first bought one

I used ProVaris for a year and a half. At one point, I had 6 of them. I'm now down to 3. In reality, I only needed 1.....they never broke. I dropped one of them out of a 5th story window of a building I was tearing down. The window section of the Kayfun was the only casualty. The ProVari fired right up...I was only slightly surprised. The ProVari doesn't quite fit my needs anymore. I like a little more power in a regulated mod and I prefer a box style these days. In reality, I use a Reo Grand about 90% of the time.
But, if the ProVari does what you need a device to do, then I think you'll have a hard time finding a better one. ProVape has the best customer service in the business but chances are slim you'll ever need them for anything. So, yes, the ProVari is worth every penny, if you have the pennies and if it fits your needs.
