Thanks zoiDman. By "lasts longer" do you mean atty lifespan? Sorry to the OP about going off topic.

Your right, we are starting to go off topic. I'll just say this and then sign off. They cost more but last longer for me than regular 510 atty's so it's about even money wise. But the hit and bigger cart make it a win win in my mind. If you have an eGo / Riva type device, I would difinately suggest you try one and decide for yourself.

Here's what I have been using and they are great. Just know that you need to get XL carts to go with an XL atty. That and hit the 20% icon at the upper L/H part of the page to see the "real" price.

Still on the subject of VVs and big capacity tanks:

Picture28.jpg

The little black one with the mini map on top of it is a "Little Sister" One of the cheapest and smallest VVs out there right now. $50 for a reman one, or $65 new. And you don't need a screwdriver to adjust it.

what's the thumb-wheel on the Infinity made out of?
For some reason I have a mental picture of a thin metal disk, with jagged edges, that hurt your fingers when you turn it.

Someone please tell me I'm wrong!!! (that may be one of my mental holdups to ordering one)

Its made out of plastic with little numbers on it
No finger pain and it doesn't move around loosely but the infinity does pocket fire...*rubs thigh *

GGTS is the same size in height and width. You can shrink it down if you use a 15270, but then you loose a LOT of battery capacity. With the little bitty 15270s its about an inch shorter then the provari. Too bad my GGTS isn't variable voltage.

Good news is that the provari is now available in CHROME !! So will be just as pretty as my old school tech GGTS.

Buzz has the most color options
The screwdriver hate you see is BS if your changing atomizers and juice that frequently then your obligated for hassle with anything it is also bulky for walk around town use

Infinity is nice the led isn't to bright and it pocket fires
But everything else is flawless

Provari- has so many safety features for two buttons its AS MUCH OF A PAIN AS A SCREWDRIVER just as bulky and a little deep of a cost its the jaguar of pv's

As for all other pv's I can't rightfully give any criticism as I've never used one

The Infinity does not work reliably with LR atomizers. Not good.
The Buzz requires a tiny little screwdriver to adjust voltage. Not good.

One problem with both the Provari and the Buzz is that they are pretty darn big for a walkin' around e-cig. I have not yet seen an Infinity in person so I cannot comment on that one.

Full Disclosure: I am eagerly awaiting delivery of an Infinity. :)

While factually correct, I think this statement is a bit misleading. The Infinity is Current Limited at 2A - which is not a bad thing, I happen to think it is a good thing. It will increase the longevity of the batteries and the pcb and reduce risk of "venting". This 2A limitation WILL result in LR atomizers causing the protection circuit to kick in, depending on how low the resistance is and what voltage you set the device to. However, LR atomizers are generally used to increase power(P=VI) in devices which do not have a very high voltage, e.g. 3.1v to 3.7v devices, and results in shorter battery life. With a variable voltage PV (~3v to 6v) you do not need to use a LR atomizer to attain a satisfactory level of power(P) at the atomizer.

That said, it was good of you let people know of the limitation, as for instance, if someone owns a bunch of LR atomizers or cartomizers they plan to use with a MOD they are purchasing, they may want to rule out the Infinity.
