Hello everyone, I know this has probably been asked time and time again. But while i'm not new to mech mods, I'm still new to vv/vw devices. I really like the box mods, like the dna 20 Fazed mod RiP Trippers has... I was very sad to find it was discontinued. What are considered the go to VW/VV mods. I prefer the box mods (like the iTaste MVP) but would like to upgrade to something better. :D

I don't have any box MODs, but I've read/heard that the Opus D is a great VW MOD (DNA20), and the NES MOD (a MOD made from old school Nintendo controllers) is also rated as awesome (the original was DNA20 and the new ones are DNA30 - that said, you need to get on a waiting list that is pretty long - I just got on the waiting list and the estimated date of completion for mine is 9.8.2014). Hana MODs seem to get glowing reviews as well, though it, just like all DNA-based

If you're not set on a box MOD, you should look in to the Sigelei 20W, a new VW MOD based on a new regulated chip that has been tested and equals the DNA20 in almost every way (flat, straight DC output signal - as opposed to a pulse width modulated signal, etc), though at a much lower price point. It can do .6Ω and higher and is rated from 7-20w. Phil Busardo gave it a glowing review, as did Rip Trippers.

I'm salivating at the thought of having a DNA30 NES MOD in my hand. Alas, it'll be another 5+ months.

I can't believe the list has grown that much. I got on it in December, but then when my time came in late February, i couldn't pay so I got re-slotted for march 28 th.
