There's no "best setting" the best setting is the one you yourself like the most. Though if you want clouds higher watts are the thing to go for (watch out for dry hits with a tfv8, to not get those poke 2 holes with a needle top and bottom of each juice flow in the coil).

Also, do take a look at your coil the "recommended resistance" will be printed on it. You should still prime your coil, working up your wattage slowly (and QcVaper knows his TF8 tank, LOL, poking holes in the cotton may be wise to avoid dry hits) and work your way up to what is a satisfying vape for you. Higher VG equal more clouds, for sure. I'm cloudier than the average MTL vaper even on very low wattages as I can't use PG. It definitely makes a difference. I'm recommending to look at your recommended wattages on the coil to be sure you don't go ABOVE them, as you are more likely to kill your coil faster if you run it too HIGH. With that said, you may be surprised to find, with the right airflow and juice, that you can get larger clouds at a lower wattage than you might expect. There is no NEED to run coils even at their lowest recommended wattage, I often go below the "printed" resistance, but I certainly never go above it.

Happy experimenting, and I hope you find a vape that's satisfying for you!
