Best way to dissolve menthol crystals in VG?

So I want to make a simple ejuice, 0 nic, 70pg/30vg. I will be making 30mL. If I want to give it a menthol flavor, do I just take the 9mL of vg and dissolve a small menthol crystal in it?

Also, what would be the best dissolving method? I have heard some say you can just heat in the microwave 1 second per mL (9seconds in this case).

I have also seen others swear against using a microwave and instead a hot water bath. How would I create a hot water bath to do this in?

I did it the way WL suggested here
Menthol Crystals - 15 grams (WL)
I warmed the PG by putting the 10ml bottle of PG in a coffee cup of hot water from my tap, filled up to the neck of the bottle. Good Luck!

Edit I used 1 gram of crystals in 10ml of PG. I crushed them in a plastic bag with a rolling pin first to speed the dissolving process.

Edit 2 I just noticed you want to dissolve them in VG. I'm not so sure how well that's going to work. I've only used PG to dissolve both EM and Menthol Crystals. I know you can also use PGA if your sensitive to PG

I use Everclear and fill a 30ml glass dripper bottle 1/2 way then start adding 1/8tsp crystals at a time till some crystals remain. Then add another 1/4tsp and fill with Everclear to the top. It's pretty potent and wont require the use of PG for those who want VG only.
