I'm sure I'm not the only one that orders 3ml sample bottles by the boatload, I currently have close to 75 different flavors I need to try. So far what I've been doing is dripping 2 drops in a 510 atty and blowing it out as hard as I can, but it doesn't completely get rid of the taste especially with very strong flavors so I never really get to taste properly. I thought of dry burning but then I read in a few different threads that it severely shortens the atty's lifespan.

Short of buying as many attys as I do sample juices, does anyone have a tip about how to go about trying out a bunch of flavors without the need to wash the atty every time?

I find de-wicking the atomizer helps to go between flavors without mixing. There are vids on youtube on how to do it but if you want a method less involved you can drop a couple of drops of PG after blowing out the atty and vaping till its gone.you should this will flush the flavor better than just blowing through.

Hope this helps

But, you don't need to test all 75 flavors at once, do you?

As many as possible as quickly as possible :D The reason why is because the quicker I can identify the ones I like the quicker I can place an order for larger bottles - especially if I'm ordering from the US which can sometimes takes 2+ weeks to get to Canada.

If you just run your atty under the hot water tap at the end of the evening, and blow it out real good, it will dry by morning and you shouldnt get much if any flavor left in it. This does vary a bit with very strong flavors, and I use alchohol stove fuel to soak them in for about an hour or so, swishing it around from time to time...then blow it out let it dry...and...like new.

+5 for Aunt Cranky's suggestion above.

I've been cleaning out strong tastes with an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner filled with isopropyl alcohol (70%). And then the atty's out of commission for a day until the alcohol smell disappears. But, you don't need to test all 75 flavors at once, do you?

I hate to disagree but I think using isopropyl alcohol may be a bad idea. Any strong, clear Food grade alcohol from the liquor store like everclear if you are 21 and if it's in your state would perhaps be more advised. Plus you dont have to wait after cleaning to vape.

Either way taking time to clean your atty in-between flavors will take a long time to get through 75 flavors.

Sorry bobsyeruncle.

Ultra sonic cleaning is a fantastic way to clean Attys that have started to loose performance but again remember to use foodgrade alcohol.

Or just go with cartos. I haven't bought an atty in forever. All that cleaning and messin around is just not for me. Plus like you said you basicly need a dedicated atty to each flavor for a pure idea of what it tast like.
I fill up my cartos, orginize them in my box, lable them and just switch out when needed. Right now I have 5 or 6 DC mega cartos in my eGo case plus one clero full of snikerdoodle. Most have drip tips atached.
Go to madvapes and order a few small cartos and sample away. Then when you find somthing you like dedicate an atty to it. Or fill up a mega carto or a tank. So many options.
Hope that helped.

I have this same problem with wanting to try a bunch of sample flavors within the first few days of receiving them and I wondered how to do it quickly with one atty. Had the same problems with flavors blending, etc... The suggestion of vaping a couple drops of unflavored pg between each test flavor sounds the best to me. My 2 cents worth anyways.

Get 1 cartomizer. I use a KR808D-1 so I don't know if different cartos (510, etc.) are the same or not. Pull all the stuffing out but leave the center tube in. Drip some fluid (I use three-four drops) in to saturate the bottom, and vape it. Those couple of drops should last you about 4 drags, if you want more, drip more. When your done, rinse it out with hot water for a few seconds and shake it dry or set it in the drain tray to dry until you want to try another flavor. Rinse and repeat.

Nah, isopropyl alcohol is fine as long as you let it evaporate completely before using. Everclear is particularly strong and may be sufficient, but if you can't get Everclear, the regular 80-proof stuff is nowhere near as good as 100% isopropyl alchohol.

I tried this and got a nasty burnt taste from it. Good vapor but horrible taste. Tried 4 samples and all tasted the same this way. Maybe I did it wrong?

when i do small bottles i like to vape it for a while like a couple hours. unless i hate it.. then i toss the atty in a big pill jar full of grain alcohol emidiatly after thats my testing atty.. it clears out preety nice in 15-30 minutes blow it out let it dry and good to go to the next flavor.. i usually forget its in the jar and let it sit for a while tho. i change the alcohol every idk 5 to 8 cleanings but just about a shot or 2 should be enough for several cleanings and 1 atty. at least thats what i figure

    So do I.

Vodka/PGA is a way to go for some, but for those that can't/don't want to use alcohol, the iso alcohol works.

BTW, what is that Peach Bellini Tea in your siggy? You know how I love peach!
