Best wire to rebuild Atlantis coil?

Hi,

I just rebuild a couple coils successfully but I would like to know more about the different wires and their specifications since I just bought a couple feet of X wire the guy at my local shop recommend me.

This wire I got says 24g and compared with the original is thicker. I don't know what AWG means or G.

It was definitely fun and the flavor is even better with the Japanese cotton.
