Better batteries or supplier to EGO-T

Hi all, I'm using an eGo-T battery setup with aspire small plastic clear tank. I'm using 18-24mg nic. Every time I turn around I'm replacing the coil or battery. Am I using the wrong setup or supplier? The store I got it from has few customers at this time (just starting bus.) They top off the charge weekly so cust don't need to wait for charging to use. The batts only last about a month before needing replacement. What should I do? Thanks, Patience

Hi Patience and welcome to ECF!

You can get a charger for the eGo-T battery at MyFreedom Smokes. then you can recharge your battery as necessary.

Hope it helps and Happy vaping!

Ego style batteries should last for a couple hundred charges, so I would suggest finding a different source for your batteries. Even the cheapest you'll find among ECF suppliers should hold up for six months or more before needing replacement. I would also look at getting a second ego charger, in case the one you have is causing the problem. Good luck!

You may want to upgrade to a better tank or clearomizer. It sounds like you have the bottom-of-the-line clearomizer by Aspire. Their better Aspire Nautilus tank should give better results.

The problem with clearomizers in general is the tiny wick (usually silica string) and tiny coil(s). Thicker e-liquids or heavy vaping styles cause them havoc.

Once you've gotten more experience, look into "rebuildables" where you make your own coils and wicks. You'll be able to use larger coils and a variety of wicking materials for a better vaping experience and not be dependent upon factory made coils.

Also, under the drip tip is always full of e liquid.

I think this is a design characteristic of Aspire tanks. I use both the Nautilus and the Atlantis and they both tend to vape very "wet" and condensation builds up around the bottom of the drip tip such that when I go to refill it and upend the tank the condensate will drip out if I do not remove the drip tip and wipe down the bottom of the drip tip and wipe out the reservoir where the drip tip is inserted in.
